Publisher's summary

‘Irresistible’ Sunday Times bestseller Katie Fforde

In a cosy corner of Paris, a delicious little patisserie is just waiting to be discovered. And romance might just be on the menu…

As the youngest of four, Nina Hadley has always had her big brothers telling her what to do. So, when she’s given the chance to move to Paris and help run a patisserie course, she can’t say au revoir quick enough!

There’s just one problem: high-flying chef Sebastian Finlay is the owner of the patisserie. He’s also her brother Nick’s best friend – and the man she has secretly been in love with since forever.

Amongst the mouth-wateringly delicious eclairs and delicate macaroons, Nina’s culinary creations aren’t the only tempting thing she’s working with…

Skip this one in the series..

For readers who came here after reading the first two books in the romantic escapes collection my advice this to skip this one all together. I absolutely love the first two books and was so excited to start this one as it is based in a Paris but this story was a disappointment. In this 3rd addition we meet all new characters and are whisked away to the city of lights and while the supporting characters are lovely the two main stars of the story are flops. Our heroine is stuck on a childhood crush and the hero(zero) is an arrogant...(just choose a negative description it will apply)...the entire book. There was no true build up to their romance or real development in their relationship it was all based on adolescent longing.

Very enjoyable story

The narrator does a great job and the storyline is fun. I reserve 5 stars for epic novels that I can’t put down. This story kept me interested and best of all distracted from real life. After all, isn’t that what a good book should do, help you escape “real life” even if just for a short time?
