What if there was a place where everything wrong in your life could be fixed?
Corporate trainer Jake Palmer coaches people to see deeper into themselves - yet he barely knows himself anymore. Recently divorced and weary of the business life, Jake reluctantly agrees to a lake-house vacation with friends, hoping to escape for 10 days.
When he arrives, Jake hears the legend of Willow Lake - about a lost corridor that leads to a place where one's deepest longings will be fulfilled.
Jake scoffs at the idea, but can't shake a sliver of hope that the corridor is real. And when he meets a man who mutters cryptic speculations about the corridor, Jake is determined to find the path, find himself, and fix his crumbling life.
But the journey will become more treacherous with each step Jake takes.

Rubart kept uncovering the layers of self I wear for protection and/or show, until here I am, nagging God to keep up the work of healing He has begun.
May it be so.

there are a lot of trips to this job that are very heavy-handed it but when you look past them you feel really strong story about a man who buys it within himself to accept who he is.
my biggest negatives are the portrayal of the women in this book their superficial they're mean and and they don't feel like real even the romantic interest comes off as a character.
the book starts off great it has a fairly plotting middle and the end is very very formulaic it almost ruined it for me. the minute you start adding religion into your inspirational speeches you turn off people who really just want to be inspired and I felt like that's what the book ended up doing in the end, solstice I I think that non-religious people will enjoy most of the journey and definitely find some inspiration in this person's story
non Christian review.
