Publisher's summary

The Longest Day is one man's search for truth.

A man searches for his daughter. He doesn't know it, but she's been looking for him for two years. In six hours, he will leave the Earth never to return.

Adam Lang is an astronaut. He's tasked with traveling to the ends of the Universe in search of intelligent life. A self proclaimed atheist, Adam finds a planet where Adam and Eve had not eaten from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. A perfect world. No death. No sin. No sickness or disease. There he finds what he least expects to find. God.

This poignant tell of heartbreak, sin, discovery, and salvation will keep you on the edge of your seat. Until the ending, that you won't see coming.

I can't lie!

I wasn't expecting the plot twist at the end. The story started off slow but after the 2nd half, boy ol' boy, I was glued and thrown for a loop. I cannot wait for the second book. this story is a very thought provocative and get the gears turning as a big "what if"!

Unique and very interesting storyline

This audiobook is different from anything I have ever listened to before. What an amazing premise. I loved the narrator. He kept my attention and made me feel like I was there with the characters. You can’t go wrong with this book. The whole idea of life on other planets is always exciting and the interesting biblical references stretch the imagination and spiritual realm without being preachy. It definitely reminds us about the vastness of God. Waiting on the next book in the series to be available on audible and would love to hear more of the narrator. Can’t wait to read more by Terry Toler.

Disappointing

First of all, I think that this is a great book. I already read it once and was happy to see narration. Unfortunately, This voice actor is terrible at female characters. Sure Jamie is young and scared, but she is not supposed to be whiny and wimpy, breathy and over emotional. Bottom line: buy the book and read it yourself.

Great Story!

Terry Toler is a compelling author. This book entertains for sure, but it also makes you think. He is able to combine fiction and theology in a way that makes a fun read. His writing somehow reminds me of CS Lewis and Ted Dekker.

Interesting

Remember this book is a fiction but it has a very interesting ending. It kind of gets boring for awhile after Adam enters space but it gives us something to think about when we are tempted to sin.
