Agatha Christie
This 1924 classic Agatha Christie Mystery features the exciting exploits of the young Anne Beddingfield.
After her father, a renowned professor, dies suddenly, she goes out on her own for the first time to London in search of adventure. She gets more than she bargains for when sees a man die in a tube station and picks up a piece of paper dropped nearby. The message on the paper leads her on a exciting voyage to South Africa as she fits more pieces of the puzzle together about the death she witnessed, a murder in England the next day, and a mysterious master criminal known only as "The Colonel".

Horrible narrator choice

This story was awful, the sheer stupidity of the main character is almost unbelievable and she is absolutely cringeworthy. Don’t waste your time. The story doesn’t even come together in any way that would make sense.
Worst Agatha Christie novel I’ve read
