About this listen

Don't take too much Vitamin D it is dangerous!

I started taking 20,000 IU a day-50X times the recommended dose of 400 IU a day.

After about four months upped the dose to 50,000 IU a day or 150X the old recommended “safe” dose I then boosted it to 100,000 IU a day or 300 x times the old maximum safe dose!

What happened over these last 10 months? Did I die? get sick? No! Just the opposite!

High dose Vitamin D3 therapy over the last year-cured all my chronic conditions-some that i'd had for 20+ years!

  1. A painful snapping hip syndrome which I had been suffering from for 23 years and no Dr could help me-It is now 100 percent gone. No pain and no snapping!
  2. Yellow fungus infected toenails - I tried everything over 20 years and nothing worked-10 months of high dose Vitamin D3 and they are clear as a bell! 100 percent cured.
  3. A knobby bone spur on my elbow that made me look like Popeye the sailor man-It has now 100 percent dissolved and my elbow is back to the way it used to be 20 years ago.
  4. Painful , clicking, popping, stiff arthritic shoulders that prevented me from even throwing a ball from home plate past the infield. A condition I’ve had for 15 years. Gone. No more popping snapping or clicking and I can throw the ball twice as far.
  5. A ganglion cyst that persisted on my wrist for over five years has shrunk from the size of half a golf ball to the size of a pea and now it is rock hard, painless, and shrinking.
  6. A small subcutaneous cyst on my face that had not gone away for 20 years - now gone!
  7. And-without even trying my weight has dropped by 25 pounds from 204 to 179.

This audiobook tells you detailed results of my experiment, dangers to avoid, and also discusses a simple and elegant new theory that suggests how high dose Vitamin D3 therapy should help prevent/cure all the epidemics of disease and health issues that have been plaguing us since the 1980s when Doctors started warning us to stay out of the sun and always use sunscreen. This has created the huge epidemics we see today of obesity, autism, asthma, and many others!

If your body expects famine-like conditions caused by winter to be likely - it will conserve your critical resources for the future. This leads to what I call the "Incomplete Repair Syndrome" which in turn causes most of the diseases humans face other than spontaneous gene mutations that cause syndromes and diseases caused exclusively by aging. High D3 can be used to prevent or treat a huge number of diseases MS, asthma, 17 kinds of cancer, lupus, arthritis, heart disease, obesity, depression, Parkinsons , plus many more...

This is the better mousetrap! Most MD's get just a basic four years in Med School, then work to earn not learn. I've researched diseases and aging for 20+ years, with a 10 year stint where I spent 12 hrs/day everyday in the Northwestern Med School's library just reviewing clinical and scientific studies! I've had three major papers published; the journal has five Nobel Prizes between the editors. And described my papers as extremely exciting and of major importance.

solid and knowledgeable about d3 and k1,2

Good voice inflection of reader. Vitamin D deficiency is everywhere. I enjoyed listening to the book in audible.

Great information - Bad narrator

I hold the 5 star review for the importance of the information shared by the book. Surely the writing could be better structured, but as it is written in a more informal -diary- format, information-wise it is still an eye-opener and genuine guide.

On the bad side and as stated by other reviewers, the NARRATOR, is terrible in terms of pace, pronunciation, etc which in return makes the book very hard to understand, and somehow, acquire an undeserved -cheap feel- overall.

I'm glad I now have the information, and definitely wish the author another narrator in the futur.

Narrator

The book was very informative from start to finish . I just wished the dosages were explained more from start to finished .
The narrator what a poor choice for reading .
She seemed very nice but her accent is strong and she had a hard time pronouncing some words . It was distracting

Great book. Not the best reading though.

Fantastic information. The reader of this audiobook though is definitely not a professional audiobook reader, makes many mistakes in the reading and the accent is distracting. The book itself though is exceptional.

The writer’s biases and ranting discredits the legitimacy of the research

Woah! Talk about all over the place! This book was not easy to listen to. Any valid research was lost in the writer’s tangential narrative, self grandiosity, biases and name calling. E.g. calling health professionals autistic and narrow minded because they didn’t agree with him. I believe there is a lot to be learned about Vit. D therapy, but not from this book.

Diary of a ROGUE MBA!

The narrator is pathetic. It made this audiobook cheap and shabby.

It's a diary so the information are not structured and most of the time repetitive, ends up annoying to hear it again and again.

I admire the focus and dedication of the author, however try to listen to Raymond Francis audiobook.

Every Disorder Is Ascribed to a D3 Deficiency

I will have to say that the author is incredibly accident-prone. So many injuries (I myself have never been athletic so it may go with the territory). Anyway, while I do not subscribe to the 'evolutionary' basis behind much of what is theorized, the chapter related to megadosing and its attendant results was of more interest. However, it is not entirely stated whether or not such elevated doses of D3 should be maintained in perpetuity or, if after one is satisfied with their results, should be lowered to a certain 'maintenance' dose (supposedly determined by blood tests).

My research and experience when dealing with a solution that is apparently as simplistic as this one is that it does work, but it is not the ONLY solution, as much as authors of their particular "take/do this one thing" solution may think. There are multiple paths to the same destination - D3 is one of them (Megadosing Vitamin C is also a 'miracle' cure). I have learned there are only two causes for every disease/disorder: mineral deficiency/malnutrition and an overabundance of toxins in the cells. In many cases, mineral/vitamin deficiencies encourage the proliferation of toxins, or the proliferation of toxins depletes the body's stores of nutrients. It is a "chicken/egg" phenomenon: in order to address the issue with D3 deficiency (or any other nutrient), the issue of the intake of toxins must also be addressed; otherwise, the problems may reappear.

As a person that has never worn sunscreen but continually suffers from D3 deficiency, I do not see this as a viable cause on its own. Much of one's Vitamin D is not actually absorbed through the skin, but through the eyes (how many people do I witness wearing shades/sunglasses while outdoors or driving?) Anyway, disease conditions such as Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis, autism, lupus, etc. can also be eradicated by chelation of heavy metals - D3 may be what is needed to compensate for the under-regulation of cellular activity with the occasional megadosing to purge those toxins, but dietary and lifestyle changes in other areas will need to be practiced to prevent the accumulation of more toxins.

As for the narration, who cares? Not everyone sounds like Tom Brokaw - many of us have accents and tonal inflections and other linguistic idiosyncrasies that may be annoying to those who are from a different geographic region. I could clearly understand every word spoken so no big deal.
