About this listen

Duet Narration

A mortal seer enslaved by a traveling faerie market. A Raven shifter forced to marry to save his Caravan tribe. And a future not even the cards could predict . . .

Some children dream of running away to join the Night Market. I did so to escape a nightmare.

Still, being forced into an overheated tent to read fortunes until sunrise has its trials—naturally. But when he visits me, I suffer for entirely different reasons.

Stars above, Rhylen Lonan is the most beautiful faerie I've ever known. A Raven shifter with long black hair, dark purple eyes, and magic that stirs my own. Each Night Market, in exchange for a generous slice of cake and a delicious morsel of gossip, I read him three cards. And before the gates open, he breaks my heart with the same question.

Does my mate love me back?

Every time, I'm taunted with visions of Rhylen in love . . . with her. His mate. Until tonight's reading, that is, when Fate takes a sudden dark turn. I see a devastating fire. He will be forced to marry to save his tribe or face banishment. She will be hunted by other fae in a wedding game.

I do not see her face. I never have. Nor do I know her name.

But as Rhylen's destiny continues to grip my Sight, I start to suspect it's me. That I have always been his forbidden future. And I don't know what terrifies me most—that I might be his downfall or that he might be mine.

THE NIGHT MARKET is a new adult standalone fae romantic fantasy set in the Bound by Ravens world and perfect for fans of:

  • forbidden romance
  • mutual pining
  • cozy-ish vibes with high stakes
  • fated mates
  • witty banter
  • courting rituals
  • feral for her
  • Irish meets Romani vibes
  • a dash of slice-of-life
  • grumpy fox familiars
  • pocket hedgehogs
  • magical comfort cake

Swoony Fae Romantasy

I’m obsessed. Stewart and Kirsty bring these characters to life. I could listen to this audiobook all day! THE NIGHT MARKET by Jesikah Sundin is a romantasy like no other. This is a childhood friends-to-lovers forbidden romance with fated mates, trickster fae, the most adorbs forest friend familiars, and heavy folklore woven into a #superbingeable novel that I read and then listened to… multiple times. 🖤 Jesikah is a master wordsmith and every detail has a beautifully intricate meaning to it. I cackled, cried, yelled, swooned, and felt ALL the feels from the very first line.

The world-building is spectacular as you are practically pulled into a caravan night market with all the gypsy goodness. Characters (both heroes and villains) are interesting, compelling, and utterly enthralling. The story is so unputdownable and will have you on the edge of your seat! I promise you will crave cake infused with happiness, the cuddles of an adorable forest creature or two, and be tempted to tickle the feathers of a gorgeous Raven lad. But don’t take my word for it, run and grab this audiobook!

Wonderful listen

The audio for this book is top notch I thoroughly enjoyed it. The magic was also super interesting and the fae men were hot so that's always a plus haha

Absolute Perfection - Both Narration & Storyline

The narrators truly captured the heart of the characters in this audio. They were deeply immersed in the storyline and the emotional journey.

This book had me in tears, both from happiness and sadness. It had me laughing out loud with the wit and banter. I adored this bio and will listen to it over and over again.

Wild & Vibrant Raven World

I adored this wild ride! The narrators were probably my favorite of all time! That’s really saying something considering the number of books I devour. Reminded me a little of the show Carnival Row - just a little. I’m thrilled I found a new (to me) and exceptionally talented author.

Sweet, perfectly happy endings

If you love a story with a perfect bow at the end, this is for you. I have been waiting for someone to make a duel POV novel, where each character reads their own lines in the alternate POV forever!! It’s so much better than listening to a performer try to sound like the other gender, and the tone of each character stays consistent. All audiobooks with duel POV’s should be preformed like this!

Character and story building

I couldn't stop listening to this book - the world and character building were absolutely fabulous, I felt like I was in the book with these characters.

A love story with secrets and magic!!

The only con I have is the ending felt a bit rushed for all the build up that happened through out the entire book.

Still, I have recommended this book to everyone I know into fantasy, magic and fae

Take a shot every time she says “branded”

I found the writing to be a bit repetitive.. also not into the whole slave and ownership thing it was a bit gross but like if that’s your thing go you
