This book is an amazing look behind the making of The Office and the lives of two of the people that made it the hit it is. Angela and Jenna are humorous, inspiring, admirable, joyful, and so much more as they lay out their Office years and, more importantly, their lives and careers. This book made me laugh out loud and tear up, multiple times.

If you love their podcast, Office Ladies, you’ll love this book, and vice versa.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book because I love all things behind the scenes and all things The Office, including their podcast. The only thing is, a lot of the stories have been told in Jenna’s first book or discussed on the podcast. So for me it wasn’t all brand new information. But I loved it. And it made me laugh and cry. And kudos for calling out women’s inequality in the workplace. It needs to be said again and again. Bravo ladies.

When listening to the book on audible I was thoroughly entertained as well as inspired! I loved hearing the voices of Jenna and Angela, listening to their struggles ,to their determination , their laughs, and their love for each other and their own success. As a woman in a predominantly male workforce (a criminal defense attorney) I can understand where having a voice and speaking up for yourself truly matters. Thank you for being a source of inspiration ! I’m proud of you both.

What? Me, cry during a reading of an audio book about a tv show? Nah…

Except, yeah. A lot. I loved this show and watched faithfully from season 1 episode 1. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve rewatched it. The Office got me through law school, bar study, late-night newborn feedings, and every other life moment since the early 2000s. The book, by two of my Office faves, was delightful in every way a book can be.
