Publisher's summary

Born prematurely, Christoff wasn't as big or as strong as his older brother or the other younglings in the village. Unable to fit in, he does the best he can, helping his father and mother on their farm. His life changes when the mountain near their farm awakens. Believing he is the only one who can quiet it, he retreats to the mountain to watch over the village that shunned him.

A hermit for centuries, he dreams of the day he can move on to his next life - a life that he hopes will give him a chance to find his true mate. He knows his time has come when the mountain begins to tremble again. What he doesn't expect is a group of younglings who suddenly appear in the hopes of saving something called Christmas. When the mountain erupts, he never expects to awaken on a strange planet lightyears away, or to meet an unusual woman who sees beneath his deformity to the warrior hidden within.

Can the love of a special woman and her family heal Christoff's tortured soul? Find out what happens when the Goddess Aikaterina gives the Old Dragon his very own special Christmas.

This collection includes the bonus novella A Dragonlings' Magical Christmas, in which the Dragonlings Roam and Alice have suddenly disappeared. Now their parents are in a race to find them before they're lost forever.

What a Christmas lol

Now that was quite the adventure those little buggers went on . I laughed and cried until the very end . Now I'm wondering what their next adventure will be when they're older that is LMAO ! Let's hope the parents don't have a heart attack because of it 😉 .

OLD DRAGON FOR CHRISTMAS!!

What made the experience of listening to The Old Dragon of the Mountain’s Christmas the most enjoyable?

THE EASE WITH WHICH I CAN ACTUALLY VISUALIZE THE STORY IN MY MIND. YOU FEEL FOR HIM AND EDNA. LOVED IT!

What did you like best about this story?

THE LOVE, THE HOPE, AND THE GREAT STORY-LINE.

Which scene was your favorite?

THERE WERE SEVERAL - I LOVED THE PART WHERE EDNA FELL INTO HIS ARMS; I LOVED THE PART WHERE HER FAMILY ACCEPTED HIM. I LOVED THE PART HOW HE HELPED EDNA'S GRANDDAUGHTER AND SHE HELPED HIM.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

NOT SURE ABOUT A FILM - BUT WOULDN'T A SCI-FI SERIES BE NICE? OF COURSE SOME OF THE SEX SCENES WOULD HAVE TO BE TONED DOWN FOR THE SCREEN.

Any additional comments?

IF I HAD TO FIND ONE THING WRONG - IT WOULD BE THAT THE STORY ENDED TOO SOON. THAT'S THE WAY I FEEL ABOUT EVERY GOOD BOOK I FIND.

Really Sweet!

I thought this was a very sweet book that I truly enjoyed. The development of the secondary characters (the children) makes me want to grow with them. Thank you for the wonderful listen. Also I really liked David Brenin as the narrator. He has a very enjoyable voice and does a great job with all the little voices. I felt like I was on the adventure with them. Merry Christmas for sure. I look forward to hearing what happens to the rest of the beloved characters. So many great stories.

Loved it. So sweet!

I wanted it to continue. The only thing I would change is have the second story play first. Then the story of the Old Dragon. Loved the story of the younglings.

Older dragons need love too.

What did you love best about The Old Dragon of the Mountain’s Christmas?

I loved the fact that Christoff and Edna embraced their age. Edna was not trying to be a young woman but embraced her age and her curves.

Have you listened to any of David Brenin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love everything that David Brenin narrators. He is just amazing!

Any additional comments?

I love whatever SE Smith writes. There is nothing that I have read or listened to where I am wondering why am I doing this to myself. She is just amazing and I get giddy thinking about what she will write next.
