Great twist

Loved the story, I wish the character was more developed, but it’s a short story. My main issue was the guy who narrated, he was just so monotone. I wish he had more feeling in his reading. Story was great tho!

Perfect suspense

This book hooks you literally in the first minute of the story and through twists and turns you can not let go. You find yourself trying to solve this so you can finally relax, and the book does not let you go.

This story is a modern day morality play, it warns you of what Karma can truly mean to you, and though you are a good person and be well liked you can pile up some nasty karmic debt by doing the most "innocent" of things.

The narration was great, the narrator became the voice of the book without overtaking the book.

I was given a free code for an honest review

This short story was great! When I started listening I was absolutely sucked in. Such a great listen. Even though this is not my typical listen, I enjoyed it so much. I would definitely read/listen to something by this author again!

Face-paced, thrilling ride

This audio sounded as if I was watching a paranormal activity movie. The set up and presentation were roughly the same. I’m not sure if it is just the extreme talent of the narrator or something the recording company did but it sounded as if it was coming from one of those old screen projectors. The story hooked me from the beginning and never let me go. I actually listen to it again two days later on a drive with my husband out of town and he was also super impressed. The narrator did a great job of regulating his tone to sound detached, as if just reporting the strange events while also conveying the paralyzing fear and confusion that Kendall endures. This follows the main character through the horrifying sequence of events that lead from her being diagnosed with high anxiety and stress from college to the stunning conclusion of what exactly she was seeing and why. There is no fluff or unnecessary details told which makes this a very quick listen. I am very intrigued to see what the author has next and I would love to see what thrills and chills he could capture in a full length book. Excellent audio for anyone who likes a quick, fast-paced, thrilling ride. Also great for those beginner listeners who’s genre of choice is mystery/thrillers.

Short story but intense, interesting twist!

Mark Cayco has an interesting voice, and even though this story was just a simple narration (please, no offense here), just meant so say that the book was just being read at same pace, same tone. Nevertheless, it felt as if he was reading the story directly to me. His voice is appealing, engaging and persuasive. My very first from this narrators and definitely not my last!!

Fairly well written, short story but intense, interesting and with an unexpected twist!

Not to bad!

I’m not into the whole witch thing. However with that aside I can tell you this is a well written story. The writer is clearly very intelligent and has a fantastic way with words!
I look forward to more of his work.

Definitely a story that makes one think.

Spine tingling perspective. Worth considering in ones day as we cross other people's path. Narrator presentation of story clear.

Interesting listen

This is a short story that was full of mystery. I listened to the audio version and the narration was spot on, with an ominous tone to match the story line. It had a good moral to the story too.

Karma Finds You

I've recently started listening to short stories. Usually not my thing, but like this story, I'm finding these short stories pack quiet a lot into minimal space and time. I'd like to do more research on this story and read others in the Karma Finds You series. Keep those short stories coming. The narration was quite good also. While I often have to speed up the narration and I still did for this story, I didn't have to speed it up much at all. Kudos to the narrator.
