This reader is great last reader was not

This narrator was far better than the person who read The Perfect Smile. That reader mispronounced many words and there were at least three times when she repeated a sentence. This reader did a great job of reading The Perfect Lie.

Narrator

I loved the story but found this narrator talks too fast which makes it difficult to follow at times and slowing the speed just sounds in natural.

I feel like the story is becoming repetitive.

when Jessie is investing a case, the criminal is always a woman and that woman ALWAYS finds a way to outsmart and harm Jessie just before being caught. Please consider altering that a bit. the story is great overall, just would love to not already know what's to come.

The saga continues

I have been hooked on Blake Pierce from my first read. This series does not disappoint! The story line flows from one book to the other but you are able to read each book independently and not feel totally lost.

Twists and Turns

I like the story lines, how it continues from the previous book and how in book 5 there’s not any repetition of the plots or the types of murders that are taking place. I’m looking forward to reading listening to the whole 26 books.

Fast and good

*** 3.5 Stars Rounded Up *** This is the first book in this series that I have read. I can’t actually say how this happened but it did. I didn’t notice any glaring series connections so it did well as a standalone. Pretty fast read and good. Held my interest and attention. Not enough though for me to go back and catch up with the other installments.

The same ending occurs

I enjoy listening to Jessie Hunt series. The only thing is that the same ending is happening. Jessie gets attacked by the actual killer almost dies before she is saved at the last minute. She is always sneaking away during questioning in the suspects house. I hope the ending get more creative this is my 5th book.

The ending is pretty much the same as the other books so far.

The ending….drugged or injured, someone trying to kill her but saved at the last minute….getting redundant and disappointing.
