It's always the one you don't suspect

At first almost everyone has a reason for wanting the victim dead. This time around it was almost impossible to keep them all straight in my mind and to eliminate them one by one. I thought the killer had gotten away but I was wrong. It's always the one you would least expect to have done the evil dead.

Just as good as the first!

Again I was amazed with this lovely (as lovely as a murder story can) story! It was just as interesting as the first and couldn't get enough of it. I hope to listen to the next books soon!

The Probability of Murder

I am binge listening to this series, which means I am enjoying it! The mystery keeps you guessing to close to the end. If there were clues that would allow you to figure out whodunit before the end, I missed them!

My comment for the narrator is the same. Good narration, but I am used to faster-talking people so I sped it up to 1.35. It was perfect and had the added bonus of letting me finish the book in a fraction of the time.

Being a librarian is murder

The Probability of Murder is Book 2 of the Professor Sophie Knowles Mystery by Camille Minichino. This wonderful story has Sophie the Department Chair at Henley College. When librarian Charlotte Crocker is murdered, everyone is shocked, especially her goid friend Sophie. Chris Sensory by gives an outstanding performance as the narrator. There are so many people involved in the case that it is hard for Sophie to figure out who the murderer is. I felt that the characters are fabulous and very believable. The story is exciting and I found myself not wanting to stop listening until the story was over. The excitement did not end until the book was finished. I am really looking forward to listening to Book 3!

Excellent mystery

The Probability of Murder by Camille Minichino is a cozy mystery featuring Professor Sophie Knowles who teaches math at Henley college. Sophie’s friend Charlotte, the college’s librarian, is found dead and Sophie gets pulled into the investigation. Seems there was a more disturbing side to Charlotte than anyone knew. I enjoyed this book very much. The setting on a college campus is very realistic as are the characters. The relationships between characters seems very genuine and relatable. I’m planning to listen to the rest of the series. The narration by Chris Kenworthy is outstanding. She creates different voices with accents and inflections unique to each. Her performance brings the characters and story to life.

tangled web

I didn't have a clue. At first I didn't know what the crime was. then I had no idea who done it. Suspenseful in parts and I enjoyed following along to the conclusion. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

5+++ Stars

There are several things I like about The Probability of Murder. Sophie Knowles is an intelligent and realistic character that proves women can succeed in a male dominated field. I enjoy the way she rationalizes her motives and actions to investigating her friends murder. I also like the relationship she has with Bruce. Both have hobbies that are dangerous and have come to an understanding of mutual trust and respect. The plot is faced paced and the story is very entertaining. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one.

I received this book for free in exchange for a honest review.
