My son loves this series!

Any additional comments?

We listen to a lot of audio books in the car. We did all of Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. When I found this I wasn't sure my 8 year old would be into them but he is hooked! I also enjoy them which is a plus!

My daughter and I LOVE this series

Would you consider the audio edition of The Problem Child to be better than the print version?

Yes! The Narrator was GREAT! The voice of Granny and Puck made the characters extra special to me. I know I wouldn't have felt the same way about them if I had just read the book. I loved the way he would have Puck say, "Old Lady." He delivery was spot on.

What other book might you compare The Problem Child to and why?

All the Sisters Grimm books. We read/listened to them in a week.

What does L. J. Ganser bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The voices! His delivery of the dialog was perfect. I KNOW we wouldn't have gotten as much enjoyment out of the series if we had just read them. I really enjoyed his narration

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Both. I was enjoyed this story and these characters so much, I couldn't wait to read the story and get to the next. I was sad when I reached the end of the series. I didn't want to "say goodbye."

No problem is to BIG when the Grimms' are together

As the series continues the characters have become vivid in the listener's ears. When I think of this story I think of Clint Eastwood's movie The Good The Bad and The Ugly !! without the cowboys.

We are listening as a family

We are listening as a family, our kids are 7 and 11. We love that the story characters are familiar but with a twist. The author doesn't give everything away.

I know they're for kids, but....

I know they are for kids, but I am having a blast listening to these books. They are great for an afternoon of going back in time, when you used to believe in fairy tales.
