I was frustrated at first by some of the turns in the plot. However, I can see the characters developing, and it feels like the writing has matured since the last book.

Good Lord does this series keep you on your toes. There are times when I literally have to stop listening because I can’t understand where the story is going, but, I can’t take a break for too long because I need to know what’s going to happen. I enjoy all of her series but this one is my favorite.

Engaging

Ending in a flurry of suprises, the plot thickens in the 4th book of the Wonderland Series. I am totally invested in the characters and their struggles . I love how their lives are evolving as they continue to live in the 17th century. There were some scenes in this book which truly saddened me. I won't disclose any further details...no spoilers here. I will say that Irina Shapiro sure knows how to write a passionate love scene. I think it must be one of the most descriptive (and spot on) that I have ever read. As always the narrator gives a stellar performance and keeps me engaged while listen ing.
I'm off to download the next book in this series. Happy listening!

I can't wait to hear what comes next in this saga!

To be honest it was hard for me to get even halfway through the first book in the series but the ending of book 1 made me get book two. Now, I'm hooked! I'd recommend the series.

The series really picks up!

Boy, do things seem bleak by the end of this book. Too much happening. All I’ve been loving characters are piecing typical times. Jeme has made his way back to the people he can consider this his real family, the Everly’s. Hugo is arrested again for treason. Neve is accused of witchcraft! How much more can these people take?

Nerve-racking! What next?

I have enjoyed this series, but please explain why in the heck you wouldn’t take the kids through the portal and get them vaccinated? Or your husband, for that matter? Ugh.

I just don’t understand the thought process
