About this listen

Dennis Prager, author of The Rational Bible - which, upon its first publication, was the number one bestselling non-fiction book in America - turns his attention to the Haggadah, the book used for the most widely celebrated Jewish ritual, the Passover Seder. As with Prager’s multi-volume commentary on the Torah, the explanations included with this Haggadah are equally valuable for religious and non-religious Jews, as well as for non-Jews. It provides enough thought-provoking ideas and insights to last the reader a lifetime.

A necessary work that requires reading by all gentiles and review of this Holy Holiday by all Jews.

A book of history for Jews and Gentiles alike.

Mr Prager once again breaks down mysterious (to those of us who aren’t Jewish) Jewish traditions simply and throughly for Christians, Jewish, and non-Christians so we can better understand The Bible, God, and ourselves… Thank you Sir!

It was a bit challenging. staying engaged while some of the Hebrew was being red, but I found it fascinating nonetheless and I believe the book was very well researched and very well done. also kudos to the voice actor who read the book.

This year the Spirit has been especially calling to me about the relationship between the Passover and the Eucharist. Dennis book is one huge piece of that. I'm so thankful for Dennis Prager and his Rational Bible series. If he wrote a commentary on every "old testament" book, I'd buy it!

Thankful Catholic
