They say the best things come to those who wait, and no one hopes that's true more than Special Operations Commander Nathan McNamara.
For over a year, he's put his life, his career, and his mother's hopes for more grandchildren on hold to dive headfirst into a world he never knew existed. A world full of angels, demons, and enough sexual frustration to crack the Pope.
But all that is supposed to be behind him, and his future looks bright and full of possibilities. That is, until a familiar chill ripples the atmosphere - and a supernatural thunder rumbles over the mountains.
This book is not a standalone. This book will spoil the series if you haven't heard it.

And I loved that he finally got his happy ending. Also that the end was sad but not horribly heart wrenching. Through all six books I never really got angry at Sloan for her mixed feelings nor did I feel favor towards Warren or Nathan. They way things fell into place made sense especially the love and hate between Warren and Nathan above all they had understanding and respect. One review I read before I began this story trashed this book and I’m uncertain why. Yes there was less celestial and general action but it followed a natural course of things. The wind down and settle, family gathers and feelings cementing and lots of baby happenings. I feel it would have been more unrealistic to not have baby changing and feeding times, group cuddles and mundane daily activities. The things that left the back story open for continuance where just the right touch action and build of interest for future stories in this funny and exciting world. I d
