NEW COVER! SAME GREAT STORY!

The first seal of Revelation has been opened!
Terrorism has struck the United States! And the Middle East is at war! Chaos has erupted worldwide!
But this is just the beginning of the birth pains and only a glimpse of the Tribulation that is yet to come! Ford, our main character, has discovered that world events are unfolding as they were foretold more than 2,500 years ago.
The Road to Revelation" is a fictional book series that is based on Biblical Prophecy. It chronicles the time preceding the second coming of Jesus Christ. The first volume, The Beginning takes place between the opening of the first and second seals described in the Book of Revelation.
Ford and his lifelong friend Samantha experience the beginning of the birth pains as described by Jesus in the Book of Matthew. They piece together various Biblical prophecies and identify the connections between the Books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Revelation, and more. They also realize that their world is changing right before their eyes and begin preparing themselves and their families for the coming tribulation.

FIVE STAR REVIEWS FOR THE ROAD TO REVELATION – THE BEGINNING
“I have read many of books on this subject and none have taught it as well as Mr. Wellman's most elegantly written, page turner.”
“This is an immensely complicated subject. I've studied it over the very many years, and I really wanted someone to teach it in a way that I could grasp. This is the book if you have a passion about this topic.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed the book and it is obvious he has researched prophesy of the end times.”
“Wish i could give it a 6 star rating. The author has a different viewpoint on the timing of things, but I respect his viewpoint and applaud the research he has done to support it. This series is outstanding in all ways - storyline, characters, excitement, and everything else. I have done this review after reading the 2nd book, so all I can say is I cannot WAIT for the 3rd in the series. Great work Mr. Wellman.”
“I recommend this book for ALL people who like books without swearing and are based on the Bible, prophecy or otherwise. Great Work!”
“I have been reading a lot of prophetic "end times" books recently and this one by Clifford T. Wellman is one of the best so far. It was so well written, easy to read and follow, and a real eye-opener to links between the books of Daniel, Ezekiel and Revelations. I can't wait for the next one in this series.”
“This is the best book I have read yet, on the end times.”
“Thought the story line was fantasy! Loved all the references and cross-referencing. Scary as it is, you made it make sense. Starting Book 2 and can't wait for Book 3. Great job! Thank you!!”
“This is a good Christian based book that flows well. It is fun to read and hard to put down. The book portrays a very real world that is happening right now.”
“I read this book in one day because I simply could not put it down.”
“The book is easy to follow and one of those that once you start you have to finish it. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.”
“Great book! Makes me want to study Daniel, Ezekiel and Revelation more. Wonderfully written and definitely an eye opener to the events around us and more to come”
“This book really makes me want to further explore the end of times definitely worth reading looking forward to the rest of the series”

Interesting end-times story with an islamic antich

I am writing this review after listening to all six books. It was a great story with many characters I came to care about.

The story is an interesting take on how the end-times could play out centered around an Islamic Antichrist as also suggested by Joel Richardson. The story is far richer than just this and includes the expected mayhem associated with the various judgements. The writing is a bit stiff in the first book but gets much better with deeper dialog and contemplation. As part of the story, the characters interpret various bible passages, primarily related to Daniel and Revelation. I found those reflections interesting and worth thinking about.

The Virtual Narrator (VN) is acceptable but not great. The VN is *far better* than the typical robotic text-to-speech, but lacks emotion and personality. This is partly helped by the writing style, as each chapter/section starts by indicating “who” is the focal point for the chapter. It’s far easier to stay oriented when I know that it’s Ford that is doing the talking ahead of time. Still, a professional narrator could deliver a better interpretation.

AI voice

The story was great but the voiced being AI lacked any inflection. Needs a real person reading it.

The Rapture?

Lots of biblical context but the author totally left out 1 Thessalonians 4:16 along with Revelation 4:1 - Come up hither. Before the seal judgements, Christians will be caught up; because we are not appointed to wrath.

No Emotions added to characters

Storyline was easy to follow especially if you’re familiar with the Bible. However, the Ai reader didn’t exude any emotions for the characters

AI read was pretty bad

This was a very engaging story. I thoroughly enjoyed the author's perspective on end times events. the AI reader was not good, however. It was dry, without emotion, and sometimes it placed emphasis incorrectly (which made parts difficult to understand).

AI narration was a real drawback!

I like the story and I think with the active alive narrator who was into the story it could have been really great. however, AI narration was horrendous!! It has its applications - like something that is purely factual and narrative nature like a textbook or a newspaper article, but never never with living characters like a book or theater things like that. WHEN ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO STOP DOING THAT?!!! AI NARRATION WAS WHAT SHOULD BE HUMAN CHARACTERS SHOULD BE NARRATED BY HUMANS! VERY BAD DECISION ON YOUR PART

AI Narration, Unfortunately. Good Biblical References and Story

Overall, I like the story and the Biblical references are good. I enjoy listening to apocalypse books, but now I'm happy I've found two Christian writers in the genre. Clifford T Wellman Jr and Mark Goodwin are the only two I've found so far.

Some things I'd like to see from the author are a little more development in parts of the stories, instead of just touching on highlighted life events for each of the couples. I do like that one character in the story may have a change of heart from evil, hopefully. I'd also like to see possibly a near death experience from a good, or bad person in the story. What that person may experience if they met Jesus, but was allowed to continue living. I wonder what Lazarus experienced before Jesus brought him back to life? However, maybe this writer doesn't want to write on speculation, rather than what he's actually researched between the books of the Bible. I don't know.

I dont like that writers are starting to use AI for Audible! I'm extremely against that. The only reason I'm going to continue listening to this series is that it's currently free on Audible. Yes, I know, I could just get the Kindle version, but Audible meets my lifestyle at this time. AI doesn't have the right vocal inflections at the right moments in the story. It's very annoying! I'd rather listen to the writer narrate their own story, even if they're bad at reading.

I do like the story though that this writer is unfolding. By following the Biblical references, my eyes are really opening to better cross referencing than what I've learned by just reading on my own. I love that I'm learning what to watch for during these difficult times in our world.
