Another great book! Since reading to the original rangers apprentice books as a kid, I haven’t been able to keep up with the series. This new series has been great for me to get back into it.

Great book!

Fun book to listen to. The one thing that gets old very fast is how often the author goes on and on about how people doing think girls are not as capable as boys. So far that seems to be the main theme in all the books in this series.

Light hearted enough.

Good, but certainly not his best work. Performance was excellent from the narrator, as usual on this series, but the story was not as tight and robust as his other works.

Entertaining, but not Flannagan's best

John Keeting is an accomplished narrator. He brings the book alive. The interaction between Madrid and Will is delightful. Most memorable moment....the interaction between Maddie and the beggar...

My son loved it

I love these books have been reading them since I was young. Not a fan of the new style cliff hanger at the end. Amazing story amazing plot but then left wanting which I guess is the point but come on... still getting the next one lol

Cliff hanger 👎🏾

Sure would love to see longer story arcs or less time between releases! Love all the series, hard to wait for the next one.

It’s great, but can’t the books be longer?

I really enjoyed the Rangers Apprentice series and the Brother Band series and thought this would be another great series. However I am not happy with the endings being carried over into the next book. When I finish a book I don’t want to feel that I “have” to buy the next one rather I would like to “want” to buy it.

Disappointed

you will like this one. there is only a couple annoying "BuT SheS a GiRl" moments. also it makes fun of the french so that's awesome
