Honestly, the practical advice on this book are casual and relatable so you can understand it better. Nowadays, I’ve noticed that just to be in a circle you don’t notice that you’re losing yourself, you want to impress but that is not you. This book will guide you on how you can create healthy boundaries. Its best to be yourself. Another topic that I like about this book is how you can manage time effectively. It’s very helpful especially now that we can be easily distracted.

the Guide I wish I had
When I was interviewed, the last question I was asked was, What advice do you wish your 16 year old self could have had? I said, Get a Mentor. This book is the exact mentor/guide I wish I could have had as a teen. It covers everything.
The book is full of questions to ask your self to help you discover some of the most important things about your self. 1. Who are you? 2. What are you good at, what do you love, and what puts a smile on your face? 3. What are your values and your priorities? 4. Are your actions aligned with your values? Great questions.
So many tips for social skills, mindset, learning, and dealing with emotions. If you are looking for a great mentor or guide, this is the one. Two things that stuck out to me after all of the above was the challenge to do Improv. I love Improv and it has so many life lessons too! And, parents are humans too, trying to do their best even when it doesn’t seem so.
