Having a growth mindset as a teen is essential and foundational to their future success, especially leading into adulthood. Skills like these sometimes are just not taught in the household as much, unfortunately. This audiobook covers these skills which include connecting with others in a meaningful way, resiliency, reframing negative self-talk in a positive way, and so much more. These skills will come in handy in college and well into the working environment. The author does a great job at breaking down these growth strategies into easy-to-follow methods that will set your teen up for success in the years to come.
In this audiobook, the author has a 31-day Growth Mindset Challenge that helps teens reframe their negative self-talk by changing the filter or lens, so to speak. They'll be introduced to having a positive outlook through daily actionable tasks. There are timed activities that the whole household can join in on to hone those skills and learn and grow together. Guardians and parents alike must have a solid mindset that will aid the teenager, so they see the person they look up to as an accountability partner and will help in grasping the concepts that are put into action.
The narrator has a calming voice and is perfect for the job of narrating this audiobook to the target demographic. If you have a teen or know a teenager who needs a little confidence boost, then this audiobook is highly recommended for them.
