About this listen
Katarina Jones’ sensible exterior and strong practical streak often masks her real feelings.
Ben Carruthers is terrified to ask Kat out, but when he buys a piece of land, and enlists Kat’s help with his vision, it gives him the opportunity to spend some time with her.
When Ben has a load of landscaping stones delivered, Kat seemingly has a sixth sense about some of the stones. Will danger draw them together or pull them apart especially when Kat has trouble acknowledging that she has a sixth sense?
Their group of friends from Chestnut Hall join Kat and Ben in the search to solve the mystery of the stones.

No one knows this as well as raven shifter Deacon Evermore, who, like everyone in his family, has a curse. While his position as Shadowvale’s peacekeeper lets him use that curse for good, he’d rather live anywhere else. He stays for his family but doubts he can last much longer.

The Secret of the Stones
A delivery of landscaping stones included some very unique stones… stones that seemed to have magical properties.
This is another short and simple cozy mystery by Olivia Swift that fits perfectly with the rest of the series.
The narration by Sarah Lynn was easy to listen to and follow along. An entertaining performance.

Hallmark Like Cozy Mystery Romance- PG
So I need to start with letting you know that I have not read any of the other books in the series. That being said it didn't leave me lost or confused... so I would say each of them could probably be read as single books. This really just has a Hallmark movie feel to it with the super fast, insta fireworks love and kind of unrealistic mystery. It's not bad, but it's definitely one of those fluffy contrived books that you need to be in the mood for.
Parents- This was a fairly clean book (PG rating) no bad language or graphic violence, there's romance with kissing but nothing beyond and there's just one scene with a naked hostage girl in a witchcraft ritual - even then no real details were given.
The narrator did a good job but was a little slow for me personally. I found that 1.25-1.35 speed was better.

More Romance than Mystery
The latest book in the Blooms, Bones and Stones series by Olivia Swift entitled The Secret of the Stones is once again more focused on romance than mystery. The primary characters here are Ben, who has recently purchased a property and is building a home with sample garden and landscaping on the grounds and Katerina, who is an employee of Carly's jewelry shop. As part of the landscaping project, Ben has purchased a load of stones that are from an old building site. Part of the stones in the load have some mysterious properties and are being sought out by several people.
Because this book, like the rest of the series, focuses on its own couple, it is easily read as a stand alone or as part of the series. The characters have been well thought out and developed with just enough reference and involvement of the other couples in the series. As far as the mysterious properties of the stones, the author has included information about archeology and ways to determine the origination of the stones. The inclusion of occult worshiping regarding the stones did lend more of a mystery feel to this book than the earlier stories in this series.
The narrator in this particular book did a good job with the pace and voice creation within this audiobook.
I received a copy of this audiobook from StoryOrigin and Lyrios Publishing in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Book 6 - final in series
Book 6 and the final in Swift's Blooms, Bones & Stones. A short, sweet, cozy mystery with romance. A quick listen with good narration. Well written with a fun storyline that has plenty of twists and turns, excitement and a romance element. Characters from previous reads in this series appear so if you have the opportunity to read / listen to this series in order I would recommend that. While this is a short read / listen I appreciate the detail Swift includes in each of the reads in this series. If didn't feel rushed or like I was missing anything which I find quite refreshing in a shorter read.

Enjoyable read/listen
The Secret of the Stones (Blooms, Bones & Stones, #6), my sixth read from author Olivia Swift. A thrilling cozy mystery. The plot is consistent & clever steadily building to a satisfying ending although the book was a bit "romancy" for me I can do romance. Becky Boyd's narration adds to the enjoyment. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. A Secret Within A Cozy Mystery
This was my first experience of Olivia Swift's work and it was charming. In the story, Katarina Jones has a secret. Ben Carruthers enlists Kat's help with his project. While working on the project, Ben might find out Kat's secret. Kat begins to wonder how will this impact their relationship. I enjoyed this cozy mystery and I'm interested in reading more of the author's work. I recommend it to others who enjoy this genre. Sarah Lynn's narration was fine, but at times her voice was too strident. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.
