Al shines the rest is MEH!

Never would've believed that Weird Al could narrate a serious book, but he really does well. In fact, he is the only saving grace to this short from Salvatore. I love the Drizzt books, but this tale was just a tale. I can't put it any other way. I'll summarize: An orc and a Dwarf go out on a battlefield looking for their dead. They fight. They earn respect for one another. The end. Save yourself.

Weird Al and D & D awesome!

Got to love celebrity readers. A stilly of the gut buster brigade post battle. Thoughts of why and what will be left abound along with great action sequence. Wonderful short story.

Yankovic did a good job.

Probably should have given him 4 stars for the narration, but I just couldn't do that to someone I admire so much. He did a really good job and I hope he keeps it up. It will be good to see (hear) him get even better over time. Thanks Al, for all that you do.
This is a great little short story by one of the great Fantasy writers of our time, about one of the most memorable characters in all of imagination. I must warn you though, this is Pwent in a serious mindset. Not his usual attitude.

Weird Al and Drizzt - No complaints here.

If you could sum up Bones and Stones in three words, what would they be?

This is a story about Thibbledorf Pwent - A Battle-Rager Dwarf and the aftermath of a very large battle around the time of The Orc King series.

What does Al Yankovic bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It's not difficult to enjoy the sound of Al Yankovic reading the works of one of my favorite authors. It's nice to have a familiar voice and a touch of celebrity added to this story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was only 34 minutes and made my commute to work enjoyable.

Any additional comments?

So far, I would recommend every R. A. Salvatore Book/Audiobook ever "written".

awesome

I've never been a fan of Al Yankovic. This has definitely sold me as a fan of his skills as a narrator.

Weird Al is Talanted

I love these celebrity Narrations of R. A. Salvatore. I can see Al would be a terrific Narrator if he ever chose to pursue that path. Great short story and elite narration
