this is such a fun series. can't wait for book 3. Chris and Jess always do great but this is probably my favorite Dante King series at the moment.

I can definitely say I want more after this and glad I have the next two books waiting for me. Thing's just keep getting more entertaining and captivating as the story goes on and the mature scenes do not detract from it at all. I love how this mc handles things and handles his mates. No one mate is treated the exact same and all have their roles to play as always but this book expands on that.

The story progresses with some twists and turns in a fantastic way that leaves our poor mc questioning his ever-changing life and just left me wanting more. I literally sat here like "I want to know how this turns out." out loud which when I start speaking out loud you know you get me hooked. I say poor mc because as wonderous as his life is even, he has had to think on the impact of every mounting thing from kids to home expense all while having to think on how best to protect his own.

This book even adds to the tension, adds more purpose to everything going on, and extends on the dangers of the world plus how our mc is puzzled into it. From getting to know his harem better, bits more about his life/who or what he is, to mounting enemy forces. This story is evolving just as much as the mc is.

Also, the references to thing's I know always get a smile or chuckle out of me. They never detract from the moment.

The series so far is great. Yes it has a lot of sex and wolfs shifters and cats shifters and mages. I purchased the book for that reason. Dante King is great author. I knew what I purchased.
