Super great book

This is the best of the Tarzan books so far and I don't see how any books in the series could be better. I stayed up all night because I just could not stop listening to the riveting story of Tarzan's son, Jack. Eight year old Jack runs away from home with an ape from the zoo to go to Africa. He ends up stranded in the jungles of Africa where he lives with an ape and becomes a lord of the jungle. He and the giant ape are teamed with a beautiful young girl that Jack saves from a cruel man in a village. This book spans several years and is chock full of non stop action. Burroughs was a fantastic story teller and even though many things that happen are highly improbable, it is still very real and believable. There are many horrible people in the story and several noble and good people and animals. The narrator is fantastic. Don't miss the Tarzan series but make sure you get the books narrated by David Stifel - he is the best.
