About this listen

Tarzan is about 34 and his son, Jack, around 11. Alexis Paulvitch, an old enemy, re-appears, and takes an ape to London and begins displaying him publicly. When the Claytons hear about the displayed ape, John decides to take Jack to see him. Tarzan is surprised to find the ape is his old friend, Akut, and begins conversing with him. Jack is amazed to see that. John then tells Jack of his life as Tarzan.

Jack starts sneaking away to see Akut and begins learning the language of the apes. Jack plans to take Akut back to the jungle. Paulvitch sees this as an opportunity for revenge, and agrees to help Jack. They escape to an African port where Paulvitch attacks Jack. Jack (probably now 12), like his father, was man-sized as a teen. Paulvitch is killed, and Jack, terrified, escapes into the jungle with Akut, thinking he will have to run for the rest of his life...

Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950) was an American writer best known for his creations of the jungle hero Tarzan and the heroic Mars adventurer John Carter, although he produced works in many genres.©2018 Audioliterature (P)2018 Audioliterature

Great story...but chapter 18 had no narrative only a 3 + minute half-speed rap song. Then Chapter 19. Chapter 18 of the story was missing completely.

Rap song in the middle?

Narration was very good but an accidental musical recording popped up halfway through that lasted about minute. Otherwise good.

Glitch halfway through

The performance is great end of the story is good, too. The problem is chapter 18 is missing completely. Instead there is a roughly 3 minute track of a weird rap song full of foul language. That was very upsetting to discover. The Producers or uploaders of this track/audiobook to Audible have a very unprofessional person amongst them.

Great except for missing chapter 18

I am not joking, there is a vulgar rap song hidden in this audiobook. The entire chapter 18 is a rap song.... has nobody else listened to this?
Aside from that, the narration is utterly terrible.
