GOOD DRAMA AND STEAMY TOO!

Like the drama, but erotic parts were a bit much. Oh well I was very glad that all the warriors were free.
Tor Thom has a nice voice but his female impersonation are supremely lacking.

The best of the series so far!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💚🖤💙❤️💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏🌎
Character development: 😠😚😁☺️
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Solo Narration

The heroine: Maeve - she is a computer programmer who is cataloguing antiquities and works in a mansion for a man named Sotiris. Though she doesn’t like him. He has this statue of a man with wings, whom she talks to when she is lonely. When Sotiris is around she stays out of his way, but often sees him yelling at the statue and berating it. She thinks it is very odd behavior, but so is the fact that she is so nice to the statue to try to make up for the behavior of Sotiris.

The Hero: Dragan - he is an ancient warrior who, along with his four brothers in arms, fought for the sorcerer Nicodemus against the evil sorcerer Sotiris. Whenever Nicodemus was about to win against Sotiris, Sotirus would run away, but they were about to win against Sotiris in a final battle when he enacted a curse which turned the four warriors into stone statues and sent them to the four corners of the earth.

The Story: Maeve was surprised when she broke the curse and Dragan broke through his stone and came to life. Though they had to leave immediately and run from Sotiris. They end up going on a cross country journey to find Nicodemus and see if the rest of the stone warriors had also broken the curse.

I actually liked this story the best of the four so far. Though I don’t know why. I think it was just something about the story and the romance that I got pulled into faster than the other three books. I also liked the characters the best so far. Dragan was strong and handsome and of course he was the only one with wings. He had a good backstory and you had to feel for him from the beginning, especially knowing he was awake inside that statue being taunted by Sotiris all those years.

This book was told in multiple points of view via Solo narration and was narrated by Tor Thom. He has done this entire series and I really like his voice and his narration style. He has a great deep voice and his female voice doesn’t bother me like some. Of course with his deep voice, his female voice is deep as well, but it is easy to tell who is talking at any given time.
