Publisher's summary

In his penultimate adventure, a devastated but determined Apollo travels to Camp Jupiter, where he must learn what it is to be a hero, or die trying.

It's not easy being Apollo, especially when you've been turned into a human and banished from Olympus. On his path to restoring five ancient oracles and reclaiming his godly powers, Apollo (a.k.a. Lester Papadopoulos) has faced both triumphs and tragedies. Now, his journey takes him to Camp Jupiter in the San Francisco Bay Area, where the Roman demigods are preparing for a desperate last stand against the evil Triumvirate of Roman emperors. Hazel, Reyna, Frank, Tyson, Ella, and many other old friends will need Apollo's aid to survive the onslaught. Unfortunately, the answer to their salvation lies in the forgotten tomb of a Roman ruler...someone even worse than the emperors Apollo has already faced.

Featured Article: Percy Jackson—A Percy Jackson and the Olympians Character Guide

Percy Jackson is the eponymous hero of the best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan. He made his debut in The Lightning Thief at just 12 years old, where he discovered the shocking truth about his parentage: He is a demigod, the son of a mortal woman and the god Poseidon. Beyond his own series, he was one of the protagonists in the Heroes of Olympus series and has since appeared in other spin-off novels and series from Riordan.

Fantastic

I absolutely love this series, I could not stop listening. It's very well written, and as always Robbie Daymond is great as the narrator.

great story, some things are harder to believe ..

Wow Applo get himself, into more trouble. Hard to believe some of the mess he gets himself into. Tyson some things don't add up with older books. things seem off. Over all I am still a Rick fan.. well done.

To much death

I don’t like how many people died or sacrifice themselves because it’s really sad when people die

Awesome Buck!

I don’t know what it is about Rick Riordan’s books, but to me, the fourth one is the best of each set. “The Battle of the Labyrinth,” “The House of Hades,” and now “The Tyrants Tomb.” This one hits all the marks of Rick Riordan goodness. Character, arcs emotion. Plot twist, turns the feel of the gravity of the moment. Even though you know it will turn out all right in the end. You still feel the weight of it on the characters shoulders. I am so happy that you’ve made it this far in the series and guess what. It’s about to get even better.

And as for the other three, the acting of Robbie Damon is great. He may you reuse some voices, but the fact that he takes on the Apollo character as himself is fantastic. He still has enough range to make sure you’re not confused. But he is the voice of Apollo in my opinion.

Dive in and enjoy listener!

The magic of great narration

This great story is brought to life by the way mark Robbie brings to life different characters- my favorite are the arrow of dadona & peaches. It actually made me lol in places I might not have if I were just reading it.
