About this listen

After becoming trapped in present-day Bath due to a mishap with her time-traveling charm, Jane Austen is safe and sound back in the 1800s thanks to Rose Wallace’s help. Now, Rose is ready to focus on her fledgling romance with dreamy Dr. Aiden Trevellyan.

But when Jane reappears in the present, it looks like Rose and Aiden have no choice but to follow her back to 1813....

Staying in the Austen household, Rose and Aiden are introduced to a number of interesting figures from the past, including Jane’s eccentric - and surprisingly modern - neighbour. Suddenly Rose’s life is in need of a rewrite as she discovers some unexpected ties to Jane Austen's world and her past.

Love both books

This is a lovely comfort read. They must be read in order. Very odd and totally implausible premise. But I adore then! Very well read. kudos to the narrator. Hurry please with number three.

Unusual and delightful.

I love this sequel!

The characters are lively and believable, even in the midst of an impossible situations. This book is funny, articulate and touching. The historical details were fascinating and felt authentic (to an American anyway), while the dialog brought the characters alive and kept the story moving. I also loved this narrator. Her very British interpretation made conversations sparkle and enhanced my enjoyment; making me aware that I had missed an often subtle English humor when I first read this the book from an American perspective.

Loved it

This is book 2 of the series and yes, you really do need to read book 1 before you read this. I’m just disappointed there is no book 3. I want more. Additionally, the narrator was excellent!
