Publisher's summary

I made a vow...and he won't let me escape it.

Riggs is possessive and cruel, twisted beyond all measure. I knew it yet still trusted and loved him.

Then he betrayed me.

I can’t forgive what he did. So I try to break what’s between us...to exit his dark world without a second thought.

Yet the lonely nights torture me, reminding me what it felt like to be his, proving he’s right. Once you’re in his world, there’s no getting out. It becomes ingrained into your soul.

And Riggs’ obsession with winning me back doesn’t help. Nor does my weakness to visit the club.

Each of our encounters hurt more, leaving unanswered questions.

How can he love me and do what he did?

Why do I keep returning to his arms?

It’s a cycle I’m terrified will never end—part of me doesn’t want it to.

The Vow is the second and final book of the Club Indulgence Duet. It’s a second-chance age-gap forbidden-love dark billionaire romance.

disappointed

I loved the first part to this duet but this was a big disappointment. The whole thing was about them fighting and I started to hate Blakely. she gave me whiplash with her thoughts in the worst way. I almost didn't finish but I made it through and hate I wasted time on this book.

Epic Conclusion to this amazing Duet

Maggie Cole has delivered another amazing duet series and brings this epic conclusion to this Duet is a tough roadmap to venture down listening and hoping that Blakely and Riggs to get their sh*t together. The betrayal is fresh and hurts. These emotions are expressed deeply through Blakely and it is difficult to listen to her struggle but she comes out a stronger, heathier, and powerful woman in the end. Ava Lucas captures all this and more through her amazing performance as Blakely.

Blakely loves Riggs that was never in question but the actions of his makes it hard to cheer him on to winning her heart and trust!

Connor Crais continues to capture everything that is Riggs. Riggs is complicated and Connor embraces all of these emotions and brings all that to the surface through his suffering, his pain, his regret, and his undying love to Blakely because she is his air and without her he is nothing.

His actions are beyond admirable when he has to convince her to stay true to their vows and love him no matter what. These scenes are powerful and makes you fall even harder for Riggs and his tortured soul. Connor & Ava were the perfect narrators to bring these amazing characters to life and that did that phenomenally in bringing all their emotions to the surface. They captured all the elements of this epic conclusion and made this a sexy, spicy, and sinfully delicious audiobook. Happy Listening!!

If you love a SPICY FORBIDDEN billionaire age gap

4.5 / 5 stars!

I just love this duet so much. It's everything spicy, forbidden, and angsty. I love a man who can grovel. I love the lengths Riggs goes for this woman. I can not recommend this duet enough!

Steamy!

This is the second book in the Club Indulgence Duet. The story continues where the first book left off. Riggs and Blakely's push and pull relationship is intense, complex, and passionate. Their story is filled with drama, twists and turns. Great narration from Connor Crais and Ava Lucas.

Exceptional Story & Narration🎧 Intense & Steamy!

Maggie Cole penned an amazing conclusion to her “Club Indulgence” Duet, and if I could, I would give it ten stars because five stars are not high enough and don’t give it the praise it deserves. “The Vow” picks up where the first book, “The Auction” leaves off, Blakely’s world came crumbling down after finding out what Riggs has done, his betrayal hurt her, broke her trust and left her feeling used and she leaves him. Riggs’ plan of vengeance backfired on him in several ways, but then again falling in love was never supposed to happen and now he is paying the price, she left him and wants nothing to do with him, but he is not giving up on her and will never let her go. Blakely’s career takes off, and Noah signs her as the opener for one of his best artists, Colton. Things between Noah and Riggs are tenser that ever, and then Noah tries to shove Riggs out of the way, but Riggs won’t have it, because no one will look out for Blakely like he would. Blakely still has feelings for Riggs, but is not sure if she could ever forgive him for what he has done or trust him again. Maggie Cole puts these two thru the wringer, and takes you right along with them, making you feel everything they are feeling and going thru. I was rooting for them from the very start, thought they were great together and for each other. I will say I kind of enjoyed watching hot-headed Riggs grovel, as if he was not swoon-worthy enough before a groveling Riggs was even more. And that twist at the end, holy moly, I never saw that coming, wow, just wow! Maggie Cole has outdone herself once again with this beautiful and cleverly plotted story, a story that is captivating from start to end and one that pulls on your heartstrings the entire time. Thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Connor Crais and Ava Lucas continue to do an exceptional job of bringing these characters to life and do so with a complete understanding of who they are portraying and are believable in every role they played. Ava Lucas grasped every side of Blakely’s personality, and Connor Crais did the same for Riggs. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture all the character’s emotions and project them into their performance, having you feel every single one. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

Disappointed

I will say that the narration was on point. Connor Crais was Riggs from start to finish and Ava Lucas made you feel exactly what Blakely as going through. I absolutely loved the first book the Auction but this one seemed to drag out with the same topic over and over again, Blakely whining about Riggs betrayal and how she can't get over it. I struggled with her character throughout this book. The first book grabbed me and pulled me in and this one just left me wanting something more. I did love the how the book ended and showed the lengths Riggs would go to for Blakely. I didn't hate the book, but I didn't' devour it like the first one. When you marry a man like Riggs you know what you're getting, and he will never change. At some point you need to accept that. Blakely had me struggling until the end. I did enjoy the epilogue it was so them and it was perfect.
