Publisher's summary

This world has declared war on our children. Every day, on a multitude of battlefronts, Satan is deploying weapons of mass corruption against our children. Modern culture has been systematically designed with an agenda that is anti-God, anti-Christ, and anti-Scripture, intended to corrupt young and impressionable hearts and minds. Christian parents cannot simply float passively along with the drift of our culture. As God’s people, we need to teach our children God’s Word; give them wise and biblical guidance; and above all, show them our extravagant love.

Very sobering to hear what is actually going on behind the scenes.

Great book for the truth, factual and scripture backed information. I would recommend all parents to read this book.

Commentary on the culture

If you are a fan of MacArthur’s work and are a parent/grandparent/guardian, I highly recommend this. Even if you do not have children, it’s a great commentary on many cultural issues Christians face today.

Important book for parents today

Although I don’t agree on all doctrinal points, this book was well thought out and presented. A must read for parents who want to protect and keep their children close.

A unique and extensive insight to not only what plagues children, but men and women.

John Macarthur unpacks and lays bare some of (if not the most) serious issues facing children today. He frequently references relevent scripture, and exposes some of the darkest elements of our history. Due to our cultural/fleshly response to the fall, everything from the biblical institution of marriage to motherhood and fatherhood, to the structure of society and the family, is suffering. Although this book presents some harsh realities, it also presents hope. If we would but turn, immerse ourselves in Gods word, and live out his commands in spite of the culture at large, our children would have a much more promising future.

READ THIS BOOK, you will be better for it!

a decisive warning for a dark time.

John MacArthur expertly explains the parent's responsibility from The Scriptures. he faces down feminism and political correctness, while showing that corruption is the name of the game in the public school systems of today.
