This is a great story for family reading. All too often it is easy to overlook another's perspective on events. This is the story of two opposing views needing to find common ground.

Sweet, devilish and funny with a great lesson

Listened to this twice while on a road trip with my boys. They both thought it was funny and it kept them interested during the drive. Story is told from the POV of a 10yr old boy, and was very sweet, relatable for my two.

I personally enjoyed the narration, and the story of a family in transition.

Highly recommend!

5 & 7 year old boy approved

If you are looking for something to tie you over before moving onto the next intense read, this would definitely fit the bill. I would also recommend this for younger readers too.

Grandpa is in for a big surprise, war has been declared and he had no idea it was coming. A good story, a good moral theme of resolving differences yet being friendly while negotiations are ongoing. The solution was a great one because it involved communication and ideas from all parties.

I had lots of laughs.

Loved it!

Loved the values this story subtly includes. It had my 9 year old hooked with interest, especially because of so many 9-year-old references (Star Wars, Risk, Hank Aaron etc). Definitely recommend for this age, my 7-year-old wasn't nearly as hooked.

Great values and good kid-references
