About this listen

Can her grieving heart be mended?

Peyton Moreira has loved one man in her life. When she receives a dreadful knock at her door from military officials informing her that Collin has been killed, her world is shattered with several unanswered questions. Alone with no family on the island of Okinawa, Japan, with her two children, she has secluded herself to a life of youth activities, volunteering, and an occasional outing with other parents.

When she crosses the path of Oliver Davidson, a kindergarten teacher whose charm and assertiveness intrigues her, it does not take long for sparks to fly between the two, and soon Peyton’s trepidation about love and relationships finds her in a compromising position. However, when this single mom finally allows another man into her heart, she is tested in ways she did not see coming.

The Widow’s Whisper is heart-throbbing, energetic, and affectionately written. James H. Waggoner delivers a love story full of hope and determination.

This book has a good storyline but for me it was a little slow and the use of endearment was a bit redundant.
I felt like this story had great potential given the scenarios but didn’t really go anywhere.
The narration was pretty good!! This is my first listen to this narrator but definitely not my last. He has a great voice and really captured the characters.

Just okay for me!💜

I really enjoyed this little book. It was short, sweet, and easy to get into. The narrator did an excellent job also. I was surprised actually because my father in law is not exactly big into books. But I played this in the car with him the other day, and he hasn't stopped talking about it. lol And if that weird, little, old, A.D.D man can get into this book, than any one can.

This book was given to me at my request. I am providing a voluntary and honest review.

Very Good!
