Gripping from the first line

A very powerful important book about growing of age in a tough part of Glasgow. The narrator is also the writer and the dialogue is fantastic, even though I am from Glasgow I know I missed a lot. A modern day Trainspotting. Highly recommended on all fronts.

Good book

Good book about growing up poor in the housing schemes of Scotland.The author did well reading it.Took me back to some of my days Jumping about with a Young Team.
