Publisher's summary

The Zombie Wars have been going on for nearly a year. John Talon and his army have been chasing zombies from one mountain range to the other, but there is another threat that lives in the wilds of the Rocky Mountains. Don’t skip this series!!

Great series and excellent writing- well worth the time!! If you love rooting for a hero well John Talon is above and beyond what we consider a hero. Great job by author!!

Loved the entire series.....

Once again, one of the best apocalypse books I have listened to. I lowered my overall rating due to the length of the book, felt a little cheated. Last 2 books should have been 1 book for sure.

Great start!

I have enjoyed this story line from the begining - the narrator does a great job - the story line is gripping and I've looked forward to the next book every time. However, I can't help but notice the length of the books is now only half what the books were when the series started - and although this one was headed in a good direction it ends abruptly after a mere 4 hours with nothing resolved. Seriously a let down. I notice the price hasn't gone down to match the length of the story...... Come on Mr Talluto.......

A bit of a letdown

Talon, Charlie, Duncan and Tommy together with their third of the Army continue the purge of undead from the New United States. In the midst of the Rocky Mountains was a large group of survivors led by a fat-headed ex-welder by the name of Cole Hobbs. This group was dug in and their leader wanted nothing more than to rule his little kingdom. This group would also be more trouble than ever expected. Book eight was a bit of a letdown as it comprised mainly of following the Army around with little other development. Here’s hoping book nine is an improvement. Three.point.five for the slippage.

Timeliness

Little confused listening to this. So many inconsistencies. John had a son, talked about his brother, never mentioned his dad, a friend gets bit and they don't know if he's immune. All of these things happened in a previous entry of the series. Not sure if audible got the series mixed up or if the author did. It definitely makes keeping things in order very difficult. I have no idea when the story is actually taking place.
