Jax & Jordan’s Journey to Love

Meg Sylvan and Aiden Snow did a wonderful job of bringing Melissa Foster’s incredible characters to life.

Devastating loss, misplaced gratitude and the courage to walk away. Then Came Love has all that and so much more.

Sometimes we stay with the wrong person out of loyalty, misplaced gratitude and our own inability to see we’re settling when we deserve so much more.

Jordan Lawler has lost so much in her life, that she’s holding on to her fiancé Todd Karns. Fighting for his time, his attention, his anything has become a way of life for her. She’s scarcely more than an afterthought to him.

It’s little wonder she’s found reasons to cancel their wedding four times. That little voice inside her trying to prevent a colossal fiasco. Rationalizing his inability to put her first in any way, repressing her feelings over the loss of her family, and playing second fiddle to everything in his life.

Jax Braden was more than happy with his life when he met his one and only, true soulmate during a wedding dress consultation. Fate can be cruel- finding himself hung up on a woman he can’t have and can’t forget.

It’s not his intention to try and steal another man’s woman, but he’s a firm believer life is too short not to be honest. He also sees how undervalued she is to her fiancé and can barely fathom that.

Jordan quickly sees so many amazing qualities in Jax, qualities Todd is sorely missing and for the first time in maybe ever, feels validated and valued. She can truly be herself with him and he not only accepts her for who she is, but whole heartedly encourages it. That’s a gift.

You have to love the way fate stepped in at just the right time to prevent one mistake (marrying the wrong person) from ruining two lives.

There’s so much to like about this book. Life is complex and heartache, loss, passion, love and hope all are experienced. When you have the right person by your side you can do more than survive. You can thrive and grow and spread your wings. Friends, family, partners, lovers. It’s what a truly great life is all about and this book has it in spades.

Learning what you need and deserve

I fell into this story through Dare and Billy. Melissa suggested this story before we get to read and hear Sully’s story.
I laughed. I cried. And I found hope. Gonna go back and read the rest of the series till Sully gets her.

Jax & Jordan

Audiobook Review: Holy!!!! These narrators, Meg Sylvan and Aiden Snow, were phenomenal. Their voices were perfect for what I thought Jax and Jordan should sound like. Both voice not only brought the heat but they also brought the sweet and loving parts of the story to life. Melissa Foster found exactly the right narrators to tell her story.

eBook Review: I was 3% into the book and I was already hooked. Jax and Jordan have met, the sparks are already flying, and Jax is pouring on the charm. I love how much Jordan tries to resist Jax. She cannot stay away but she realizes that they should not be more than friends, at least until she does not have a ring on her finger.

Jax, oh that charmer. He knows in his head that Jordan is off-limits, but his heart is screaming to make Jordan his. He promises not to flirt, he promises to behave but some promises are meant to be stretched but never broken because Braden’s do not break promises. While reading the book and I blushed and swooned so many times.

I love that Melissa Foster does not write books with cheaters in them. She writes steamy, hot love stories with characters that give their whole selves to each other. The characters value themselves, their friendships, and their families. They love with their whole hearts and stay true to each other no matter what is happening in their lives.

Great story

I loved Jax and Jordan’s story and how their love came from a deep friendship that formed between them. Jax was totally swoon-worthy especially when he always put Jordan first to ensure her happiness. I loved how supportive he was of her in everything, even if it was at his own expense and happiness. I really liked Jordan and my heart broke for what she’s been through. These two were meant to be together and they so deserved their HEA. Loved seeing some old favorites appear in this book. The narrators did an amazing job with their performances and brought the story and all the characters to life. They were able to convey all the different emotions Jax and Jordan were feeling. Another great book in this series and looking forward to the next one in this series.

Finding love

Jax and Jordan's story has so much in it and I won't give away the details but just know this is a great story that has depth and lots of emotions. Jordan has suffered from her childhood and Jax will help her not only heal but to find herself and go for what she wants in life.

The characters are wonderful and I really loved listening to Meg Sylvan and Aiden Snow bring them to life. All the supporting characters are an added bonus to pull us into their lives and their story. I loved this book and highly recommend it.

Incredible. Absolutely loved it!

Melissa Foster totally left me wanting more of these characters. This might be one of her best books yet. Meg Sylvan and Aiden Snow nailed it as they narrated this sorry with seamless transition between the characters. Jax and Jordan are amazing. Their coming together is respectful and thrilling. Melissa Foster writes with heart, hilarity, and passion. Her characters make me feel as if they are real people an transports me into their world. Jordan has had to deal with so many challenges in her life. The additional trauma that Jordan experienced with her family had me on edge and in tears. If you loved it in print you will be thrilled by the dynamic narration contributing to the 5 star rating.

A Wonderful Love Story!

Melissa Foster writes such wonderful stories about characters that just suck you in. Jax and Jordan's story is about a man finding the person he's meant to spend the rest of his life with only she's engaged to someone else. Even though they are attracted to each other and their chemistry is off the charts, neither cross that line (no cheating). Deciding a friendship is all they'll have, Jax decides to help Jordan with her wedding plans when her fiancé cancels on her again. Spending time with Jax, Jordan realizes she's with her fiancé for the wrong reason and decides to break if off with him only to find out he's been cheating on her. When Jax finds out what happens, he makes it his mission to show Jordan exactly how a man should treat a woman on a way to a HEA.

Meg Sylvan and Aiden Snow are wonderful narrating Jax and Jordan's love story!

Wowza What a Story

I am already a huge fan of this author but this one will definitely blow you away. There are so many things I want to say about it but don't want to ruin it for any other listener's. I will say the narration gives this book an extra dimension that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

always love Melissa Foster book and Aiden Snow

Aiden Snow has a voice that just bleeds sex. Not just one tone. He has a range that gives off the same vibe. Those differences are needed when you have a story form Melissa Foster and all the hot guys she have in her stories. Meg brought Jordan to life and the other female counterparts. I loved this narration and the story.

Jax knew better than to fall for a woman that was to be married. He knew that he should not be offering her any kind of services outside of a group setting. He just could not let go of the fact that Jordan was meant to be his. He was going to do everything he could think of to make sure she knew that he cherished her. He was on a mission to show her just how she should be treated by a man that valued her for her. Jordan could not stop thinking about Jax. When she meet him for the first time should feel the chemistry between them. She erred on the side of caution and postponed her wedding. Not one, not twice. But this time she has a firm date in place and she is going to go with what she knows. At every turn her fiancé was showing her who he was now not the man that was there for her in the beginning. His cheap shots at her and her feelings were pushed aside. His dismissal of her and her efforts to make them a future was dismissed . He was not worthy of her.

Jax Braden knew the prize that Jordan was. He was willing to be that friend there for her. He was willing to show her so much. He just had a hope that she would realize things before they went to far.

Melissa Foster gives another story that ties her worlds together. You have to take a listen or even a read to find out which other story Jax and Jordan connects to. This was more than meets the eye. There is another couple looking to get their happily every after. I loved being at Tank and Leah wedding. Love even more seeing so many of the other characters from previous stories. Love seeing where they are in life and the directions others are going.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Romantic Witty Wonderful characters Funny Page-turner Entertaining Easy-to-read

Good addition to this series

In typical Melissa Foster fashion, she has created another good slow burn romance story that made for another good addition to the Oak Falls series. In this addition to this series we get Jax and Jordan's story.

Jordan, a bride to be has commissioned Jax to design her wedding dress. Over time and postponements, the pair get to know each other to later meet again at Trixie's wedding. After a few postponements, Jordan shares her heartbreaking past with Jax while engaged to the wrong man.

Jax, a wedding dress designer and swoon worthy man has an instant attraction to Jordan from his first meeting with her. The more time that he spends with her the more he fights his attraction while sharing confessions, banter and insight.

This story is what this genre was made for. The chemistry between the pair was palpable with their slow burn story. I loved the return of the characters from previous books and series as well as Jax's huge family that plays a role in this story.

The narration performed by Meg Sylvan and Aiden Snow was performed well. This pair did a great job bringing this story to life and making it an enjoyable listening experience.

Overall, this was a good read that I enjoyed from start to finish and in the end would recommend to others.
