Highly recommend

I usually listen to the books before sharing it with a young adult and this was a great book and narrator.

I really liked this book!

What made the experience of listening to Theodore Boone: The Accused the most enjoyable?

Well read and the voice matched the story

What did you like best about this story?

The plot was believable and interesting for a "guy". Am not so sure the gals will like this story as much....

Which character – as performed by Richard Thomas – was your favorite?

Protagonist of course!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Smiled plenty

Any additional comments?

My only ding is the ending. I thought it could have been an hour longer and somehow tied the guy who murdered his wife into the whole thing...

The Book, although (I feel) marketed for a younger crowd, was actually pretty good. I like the character. And the read was great!! I got the other two books on here. I should have gotten the earlier versions first. I Look forward to them. Theo is a good character.

Excellent Book

What did you love best about Theodore Boone: The Accused?

The story line follows the past books well, and introduces the kinds of things kids sometimes have to deal with in school. The story was very engaging.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Theodore Boone: The Accused?

The solution to the mystery.

What does Richard Thomas bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He is a staple to the Theodore Boone books, they wouldn't be the same without his voice for characterization.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was hard to put down, I had to listen through the whole thing in one sitting.

Mystery abounds!

What made the experience of listening to Theodore Boone: The Accused the most enjoyable?

The mystery ultimately gets solved and this extension of the earlier books helps carry the story forward. I wish all of Grisham's books were like that.

What other book might you compare Theodore Boone: The Accused to and why?

The series was fun reading and should be required reading for civics class in Junior High.

Have you listened to any of Richard Thomas’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I think he is a terrible reader, but a great narrator. He does not change voice inflection so that one can easily tell who is speaking.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did because it was convenient.

Any additional comments?

I love the series and wish Grisham would write a sequel to The Partner, it begs for a sequel .

Kid's Book good for adults!

Our kids loved this audio book. We listened to it basically straight through on the road to vacation one day, and they were looking for the next in the series. Animal court is such a funny sidebar to the Theo Boone books. There are a few themes in the book that may be a little too mature for 9-10 year olds, but 12-16 year olds that we have love these well-written and intricately woven stories.
