About this listen

The Graham Saga is the story of Matthew Graham and his time-traveler wife, Alex. Set in the 17th century, it follows them and their expanding family through an adventurous life set both in Scotland but principally in the Colony of Maryland.

A well-researched historical setting provides the background against which the personal challenges and tragedies of the Graham Saga are set. In this the ninth book, we return to a Maryland presently torn apart by religious conflict - the hitherto so tolerant approach to various faiths is a thing of the past now that the staunchly Protestant William and Mary sit on the throne, and when Catholic friends of the Grahams end up in danger, Matthew and Alex must ride to the rescue.

Meanwhile, in London, little Rachel Cooke has her entire world turned upside down the day the man she thought to be her father sells her to pay off his debts. Fortunately for Rachel, her Graham relatives set out to find her. But will they be too late?

How to say goodbye the Graham family? Books 9 introduces new characters and says goodbye to old characters. almost leading one to believe that there would be another book to wrap everything up in a conclusion but sadly there is not.

After 9 books I still want more! I fell in love with the characters and the whole story.

Loved the whole series

I absolutely adore this series, the first couple of books were so very similar to Outlander, but that didn't bother me any, if anything that made me more inclined to keep reading, and I'm oh so glad that I did. As the books went on they became their own personality, with hardly any similarities to Outlander. Now, on this last book I'm just hoping that there will be more. I can't bare the thought of it being over. So, if you like Outlander, definitely read this. If you don't know what Outlander is, still read this. If you do not like Outlander, then find a different book.

So good!

as always the author has pulled through with historical facts and imagination. I love the series and this book is a must read to this series.

one more book to an amazing series

I loved the historical base, family development, adventures, hardships. I did not like by the constant sexual content, feeling that it was not necessary for the story itself. I don’t mind some, but I felt it was excessive and somehow invasive. Many times I just fast forwarded.

Good listening

GRIPPING tale from start to finish! I don't want this to end. The reader can really feel the intense pain, anger, fear and utter joy of the characters; a true range of emotion! Loved it, and aching for more!

The Best of the Series
