About this listen

When a woman is murdered by her husband, the seaside town of Adtoft unwittingly gains an angel. Invisible to all, she becomes a serial observer, but in death, could Angel finally find a way to live?

Neither dead nor alive, Angel is trapped in a solitary afterlife with nothing but her regrets and the rules of "the glitch" to guide her. Yearning for purpose, Angel watches the residents of her seaside hometown—including an artist who quietly paints on the beach every day, a handsome paramedic, and her father who is stuck in a loveless marriage—while trying to avoid reminders of her murderous husband.

Distracted by her daily observations, time passes in relative peace until a boy falls from the Ferris wheel and does what no one has done in years—sees her. Struck by the brief connection, Angel’s tranquility is overturned, causing her to seek those in peril as she searches for meaning in existing between life and death.

great book! The author did an amazing job keeping me on my toes, with twist and turns, and suspense...I couldn't stop listening, the only criticism I have is I wanted more... the narrator was absolutely fabulous!!! her voice was soothing and loved how you could tell when it was a different character, she is an amazing narrator!!!

This was fantastic! It gives Layla vibes, but completely its own paranormal vibes. The female main character is stuck in limbo between life and death trying to figure out what her purpose is. && The drama that comes out of this small town is mind blowing. I'm literally just sitting here after finishing the book like what no way?!?
Definitely a must read bonus with spooky season coming

This is a beautifully written book that had me question why Angel was where she was but the end of the book left me with some questions so I wish there was a epilogue just to help with that. The naraction was wonderful and she brought this book to life can definitely recommend.

Really loved the book

The Call Me Angel is a phenomenally written story with more than just a paranormal twist. Angel perished at the hands of her evil husband, but unlike most, that is not the end for her. She is unable to move forward yet, but she is unable to stay in the world of the living she lives in a type of limbo. There is something left she has to do, but she has no idea what that is, so she spends years wandering her small little town helping others. I won't give spoilers. Just know this book is worth the read/listen.
The storyline is full of suspense, action, drugs, memories, and a bit of paranormal romance. I love how descriptive and intriguing this book is that it kept me on a thrill ride I won't soon forget. I highly recommend this book. My hats off to the narrator she did an amazing job with voices, her voice had so much emotion that it made the story real and brought it to life.

I rarely listen or read to Paranormal novels as a good majority do not capture my attention throughout the novel BUT this one certainly did!

The way this woman was died m murdered by her spouse was sad enough but that her spirit continue to live and help others in her hometown made me want to continue to listen to the novel. The best way she helped others was getting the help the town get rid of drug deals-her hubby being one of them-- made me cheer as I listen.

But the end of the novel just blew my mind! Nothing as I expected but truly loved! This is a must read or listen, your choice! And the narrator did a fabulous job in the telling.

This is certainly an author I look forward to listening to again! Bravo. Alexia Muelle-Rushbrook your book was totally awesome!

Alexia wrote a captivating story. The narrator did so amazing. She keeps you so focused on the story Made it hard to have to pause to deal with real life tasks. I felt like I was in the scene as Angel, seeing and feeling as she was. You change as Angel changes. There was just the right amount of scenery building. It didn't stretch too long to lose the interest of the plot. There are plenty of characters to care about and others to hope they get their karma. I loved that every character played a part in the story's plot as well. Definitely, some tear-jerking scenes tossed in the plot, too. It's not my usual genre, but I enjoyed it just as much.
