About this listen

When the greatest coincidence of the year hits a Los Angeles supermarket, one average woman comes out the clear winner....

The set-up

Managing the frozen-food aisles at the market rarely brings excitement. Until average gal Maya Flores meets two female customers who want her to go out with them...separately, of course!

Jocie Greer is the charismatic lover that she’s always desired. When they’re together, they’re on an adventure. Maya doesn’t have to think about the crumbling family waiting for her at home, or the nowhere job keeping her chained to a paycheck.

And when she’s with Loren Hamilton, the professor who can quote from classic literature and the latest hot romance novel, Maya feels like the star of her own best-selling romance. The private tours of a college campus aren’t bad, either!

But Maya knows that every great romance novel has a catch. She simply has to believe that it won’t happen to her....

The oh-no

Jocelyn Greer and Loren Hamilton go back all the way to boarding school, where they ruled as romantic rivals. Now, 20 years later, they’ve bumped into each other, and all hell is breaking loose!

This might require telling Maya the truth about their past. And if there’s one thing Jocie and Loren would rather do than go down that road, it’s to admit something is wrong. Or that they might still like each other, too.

Something has to give. Will it be Loren, who has turned her back on her old self anyway? Or Jocie, who knows she’ll never stand a chance against a trust-fund academic from freakin’ Brentwood?

Maybe it will be Maya, as soon as she’s done milking this fling for all it’s worth!

This is a ménage romance with a HEA.

I've listened to lots of lesbian romance books, this was hard to listen to due to the narrator. Stiff, stilted and really put me off. Almost stopped after the first chapter. Would not recommend.

Fun story, but..

but narrator gets low marks for so many times words were mispronounced. authors are great, love when they team up.

First time listening to this narrator and although she has a nice voice, she pauses a lot and at the wrong places. It took me a while to get through the whole book. I had to speed up the narrator to try and get away from the constant pauses/breaks. The story over all was good.

Good story / OK Narrator

I really liked this book the characters were so good and the book was very steamy. Just wish Narration was the quality that the book deserves.

Great Story Narration Not As Great

I loved the story. Maya, Loren and Jocie all have issues. Maya has family problems and low self esteem. Loren and Jocie share a past that they are hiding from. I really enjoyed the banter between all the characters and the growing love story. There are many layers to this story and it makes for a enjoyable listen. The narrator has a nice voice and if you up the speed a bit you don’t notice the long pauses. The sex between the three of them is so hot and sexy. They make use of every surface and toys too. You’ll need a cold shower 😉

Maya manages the frozen foods of a trendy grocery store where she meets both Jocie and Lauren. She gets hit on by both and is attracted to them both. Even though she hasn't dated recently and it's obvious Jocie and Lauren have a history, she dates them both.

The sparks fly in this book until it becomes an inferno!

It's great to hear the POV from all 3 of them as they each have realistic struggles. Maya struggles to understand how they could be attracted to her as she has curves and a larger build. Both Lauren and Jocie reassure her they love her curves, but Maya's fears are very realistic.

Hildred Billings/Cynthia Dane is an excellent writer! You can really feel how these three characters really belong together. Wonderful story.

The narrator's voice was pleasing and acted out the scenes well, but there were a few moments where it could be confusing as to who was speaking. I already read the book, so I figured it out. Still felt the narrator did a good job overall.

This is highly recommended!!!

Unconventional Love Story but Realistic!! Sexy!!

Cute story. Likable characters. Who doesn't like a hea, especially for three?! The narrator was ok. Could have used better editing. Many of the pauses where to long. The witty banter was read a bit to slow. I had to move up the speed just so I could finish the book. There were parts that had annoying background noises. But the story itself was enjoyable.

Cute story, iffy narration

I enjoyed the book very much! Great storyline!
The narration needs work though. It was like the narrator was just reading the book. If it was supposed to be just read, we should've been made aware of this.

Very good!!

sapphic poly romances are something that I've been looking for for a long time, this was the 2nd I found and it was the worst. Not because the story wasn't good. I could overlook the tropes and the predictability. I even appreciate that the writer took a swing at her own genre by calling it 'the fast food of literature' so to use her metaphor, the synopsis promised us the big Mac we see in the commercial the narration we got when we opened the bag was the sad attempt someone thought was good enough to pass as edible and they forgot you said no onions. There were unnecessary long pauses and sometimes I thought the sentence was over and it wasn't. like I had to check every once in a while to see if my headphones died...nope...just a long

pause.

narration took me out of it
