Would you consider the audio edition of Tisha to be better than the print version?

Enjoyed listening to the audio version while I was painting! Really made the time fly by!

Any additional comments?

The narrator did an excellent job portraying all of the different characters. Especially the young children of various ethnicities.

Next best thing to visiting Alaska in person!

This reminded me of Anne of Green Gables but the Alaska version. I was riveted and routing for Anne, Chuck, lil’ Ethel, and Fred. Inspiring story of grit on the last frontier. An insightful look at racism in Alaska in the 1920’s.

Anne of Chicken Alaska

I loved the description of the surrounding and the authors characters. I could really see them as if I was actually there. The historical research was spot on. The adventure kept me engaged. Having been a teacher a ways back, I often thought of going out into the wilderness for the true chance to go back to a time of one room school rooms. This book gave me that opportunity thru words. Well done!

Good story about hard life in Alaska. Also interesting about prejudices among natives. Sad that Indians live in such poverty but don’t seem to care. Hard life back in that time.

Narrator was very flat and without any quality.

This is one of my most favorite stories, but the narration was absolutely horrible! She read too fast and in an almost monotone.

Horrible Narrator

The story kept me listening because the people were interesting. It was a bit old fashioned but I’d was written from a 1930’s story.

Alaskan history in story form was nice
