Its not perfect but its worth listening to,

There really is a JARRING difference after the 5th book in terms of how the story proceeds. Battles usually are the main topics and storylines but after that book i think Author noticed that story just takes too long.

The story is still fine but it reduces the importance and length of battles.

This book actually finishes most major battles in the last 2 hours. A battle of one of the main characters done in under 5 minutes which were usually a chapter long dedicated for it or at least parts of the battle

I get that they cant explain everything but the review say that there ware plot holes or rushed does feel it in some instances.

Best series ever…

In my opinion this was the best series I’ve ever read. Alistair/Prometheus, the AllMother, Theroux, Relm, Caesar, and Obs, with his slobbery licks, and every hero, male and female, were simply awesome! Now I’m going to read The War Machine book 2, when it comes out next month. I know it will be as great as book 1 AND the 9 books about Alistair. Personally, I wish the series would have gone on and on!

No romance and the F-Bomb was used 46 times.

As for the narration: John Skelley was perfect.

Sophomoric, Basic

Likeable and dislikeable characters, if shallow. Fuzzy science. I got slightly invested because the series was free with a ho-hum narrator. Abrupt ending but most loose ends loosely tied up.
