About this listen

To the Last Man is Zane Grey's archetypal tale of a bitter feud between two unforgiving factions: the ranchers led by Jean Isbel and, on the other side, Lee Jorth and his band of cattle rustlers. In the grip of a relentless code of loyalty to their own people, they fight the war of the Tonto Basin, desperately, doggedly, to the last man, neither side seeing the futility of it until it is too late. And in this volatile environment, young Jean finds himself hopelessly in love with a girl from whom he is apparently separated by an impassable barrier. How he battles to overcome the difficult situation makes a dramatic conclusion to this desperate feud.(P)2000 Blackstone Audiobooks Fiction Westerns

Giddy up, eh?

Great story, and the reader is pretty decent except that he’s confused Arizona with The Great White North. Give it a listen, and you’ll know what I’m talking aboot.

Great

A guy has just got to love the old ways with morals for some and almost none for the bad ones. Thanks for the good guys to win again. John

Uhmm

I enjoyed the reading and the feelings it gave. However it wasn’t as poetic as Riders of the Purple Sage. Guess I compare all of Zane’s work to that.
I do recommend this

The last man story

It was a good story, but to much details. I had to skip the details to get to the story.

Good Stoy

Good story with great descriptions, it is long so if you are going on a long trip this might be great, but not so much for a quick read.

Great storyline

I really loved the story but there are some verbs that are are overdone and though the narrator was kind of bland, he has potential.

A long read!

Each and every scene produced a windfall of words. The author used an abundance of adjectives and the story could easily been told with 1/4 fewer words.
