The fate of the Campbell Family fortune has suddenly been put in the hands of the youngest and only remaining child Kimberly Campbell.
Kimberly is not sure she can take on a business that has been passed down in her family for generations, but she is left with little choice. She either steps up to the plate or watches as everything falls apart.
While fighting to save the family business, Kim must also struggle with trouble in her new marriage. To complicate matters further, family secrets make her question whether or not she is making the right decision at all.

Felicia Granville continues with the saga of Kimberly Campbell. The story flows nicely with a few twists thrown in making the secrets being kept more mysterious and intense. Although her education and training are in business, we are shown her vulnerability through her doubts and questions. This brings the story to have a much more realistic feel and creates a connection between characters and listeners. We are shown how far out of her comfort level both she and her husband are as well as the denial by the patriarch.
The narrator, Nikki Delgado once again delivers a steady and strong performance. Unique voices and inflections of her voice capture and project the emotions of the characters. Her delivery was smooth and clear. I enjoy listening to Delgado’s performances.
Overall, this was an entertaining story with a little romance, intrigue, and mystery.
