About this listen

Cassaundra Moore, event planner extraordinaire, never believed in fairy tales, only in creating them for her clients. Why would she believe something so magical would happen to her after being scammed by her ex causing her loss of business and social standing?

But when Adam Simmons, candidate for governor of Virginia, comes along making a proposition that would not only help propel him in the race but also relieve her of her financial worries, she has to redefine what fairytales are made of.

In Name Only explores one man and one woman's decision made out of convenience that forces them to consider there was something else at play. They both yearned for love.

Sweet

Enjoyed this one… could have been longer with some details on how the dirty journalist and her ex were fleshed out… but that’s not as important as the really good sweet story

Powerful proclamation to love

I was pleasantly surprised that this book and audio moved in a rhythmic, romantic, intimate, professional and loving basis. A true signal of love is how the events unfold and the author captured that. Sean Crisden you never failed to deliver a perfect performance. Thank you.

Not Only in Name

I loved the story. It started off very differently from what I expected, however it turned into a wonderful story!!! I loved it and I’m so looking forward to the other stories in this series. Mr. Sean you’re one of the best narrators to listen to. This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites. ❤️

Light Spice & Miscommunication

I enjoyed the story. This was my first time reading this author. The love scenes are light and don't dwell on the act much (this worked for this story). There was alot of speculation about feelings and if they should say it out loud or say it first. It reminded me of a Brenda Jackson romance. Decent. Worth the purchase

From a Lie to Truth

This was my first listen to an audiobook written by Sean D. Young. Also, my first time listening to a solo male narrator, Sean. Sean did not disappoint. The storyline was sweet. Cassandra and Adam needed each other. Although, it first started off as a political plot, they were starting to have feelings. What can you expect when there is the physical attraction? A 5-year business deal could eventually turn into the real thing. Although, after what Cassandra experienced in her previous marriage and the reputation of this rising governor, she wouldn’t take it serious. However, Adam soon saw that Cassandra was good for him. They began to love each other and would like to see this marriage until the end of their lives.

Narrator’s Female Voice - Ugh

Cute little story. Nice to have a male protagonist who is genuinely a good guy, though there is not a ton of characterdevelopment or depth. The narrator was fine for the main character, but the primary female characters voice was terrible. He made her sound pressed and tired.

Ok but....

This was my first time listening anything by Sean B. Young's. For me the story was lacking in all areas. The storyline was a good idea...however, l don't feel like the story ever evolved. The characters were boring and there was no growth or development as the story progressed. Even the intimate parts were boring and without emotion....everything fell flat. And l am not a big fan of those over the top sex scenes that some authors use...but l do think that this book needed a bit more spice. This book really missed the mark. narration...generally l like Sean Crisden (HATE HIS FEMALE VOICE!) l didn't really care for his narration of this book..l don't know if it was because of the stotyline being boring or if because of the absence of a female narratior. With all being said..l am not going to count this author out...Sean B. Young has a couple of other titles that look interesting....l am going to check some of them out to see if they are any better.

Corny and Immature

This story didn't quite hit the mark for me. The way these grown adults acted like teenagers over their emotions/feelings baffled me. I needed a little more depth 😔
