Not a sleep training book

yes, it does cover sleep, but talks about routines and dealing with sleep issues, this is not a "how to get your toddler to sleep" book, so if you are looking for that (as I was), this will not work for you

Very little helpful info

Very little information on what to actually DO when my toddler wakes up several times during the night.
To 'be in the room' as the author suggests doesn't work, it creates a situation where my child can't sleep without me being present. So I spent the last two nights sitting in his room while he's trying to go back to sleep (cos the book says so) but he just gets up from his toddler bed and walks over, the book only talks about toddlers being in their cribs, toddlers as far as i know can easily climb out of cribs and mainly sleep in toddler beds. This book gives more info on diet, me-time, differences between girls and boys and getting the child to go to bed vs sleeping through.

Information is not helpful

Nothing of real use in this book. Shallow surface level information that leaves more questions than answers.
