About this listen

One of Tom Clancy's most storied characters, Dominic Caruso, is the only one who can stop America's secrets from falling into enemy hands in this blockbuster new novel written by Clancy's longtime coauthor.

Over the course of three decades, Tom Clancy created a world alive with prescient action and remarkable individuals. In Tom Clancy Support and Defend, Dominic Caruso is presented with the deadliest challenge of his career.

Dominic Caruso. Nephew of President Jack Ryan. FBI agent and operator for The Campus, a top secret intelligence agency that works off the books for the U.S. government. Already scarred by the death of his brother, Caruso is devastated when he can't save a friend and his family from a terrorist attack.

Ethan Ross was a mid-level staffer for the National Security Council. Now he's a wanted fugitive on the run with a microdrive that contains enough information to wreck American intelligence efforts around the world. The CIA is desperate to get the drive back, but so are the Russians and various terrorist groups all of whom are closer to catching the fugitive. Only Caruso stands in their way, but can he succeed without the aid of his Campus colleagues?

Nice to get a different story in the Campus world

A pretty good thriller in the Campus world without the Ryans and senior cabinet members like Mary Pat Foley. It was even better to get to know both Dom Caruso and Adara Sherman at a deeper level.
Scott Brick does a magnificent read again and continues to be one of my favorite narrators in the Audible world.

Defense was almost too late

This was great as kindle book, but listening to was like hearing a old radio drama. The action was great and the story line kept my intrest

Taking over from where the late Clancy left off.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would. Why, I'm not sure.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

It did. Not knowing who would survive mostly.

Which character – as performed by Scott Brick – was your favorite?

All of them. Scott's very good at accents.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Nope.

Any additional comments?

None.

Excellent narration and great story

Where does Tom Clancy Support and Defend rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is the first audiobook that I've gotten from Audible. I'm a Tom Clancy fan and I wanted to pick up the work after his death. Mark Greany did a great job with this work and the narration was excellent for driving. Very pleased.

Clancy tradition in good hands with Greaney

The story is well developed with fast paced plot line, good development of characters and intrigue.

Most memorable moment is when Caruso tracks down Ross in Panama and fights off the Russians.

Incredibly well done

The story was intoxicating! it kept me going from start to finish! I thought the Ryan series was the only one that could keep me going. The campus is the same caliber!

Mike

Another outstanding Clancy book. Did not want to put it down. Always a cliff hanger at the end.
