Publisher's summary

When she was young, Serena Lewis was uprooted from the life she knew. Her parents took her from everything and everyone she loved, including her best friends...her cousins. Rebelling against the change, Serena became a young woman she knew her family wouldn’t like. Now that she's moving back home, she hopes to keep that part of herself in the past and become the woman she's meant to be.

Jed Monroe is a self-made man. Forced to grow up at a young age, he's always taken care of himself and worked to get what he needed. Working construction has given him stability, but working with wood is where his passion truly lies.

On the outside, petite and perfect Serena and rough and hardworking Jed have nothing in common. When Serena moves into the house next door, Jed is determined to ignore the sexy art-gallery manager, who he just knows will be a pain in his ass. But their shared loved of creating beauty from pain, along with the intangible chemistry that fires whenever they’re in the same space, forces them to dig beneath the surface to find their vulnerability.

Jed will soon see that whether he likes Serena or not, she’s too enchanting to ignore.

Too Enchanting is the fourth title in an all-new small-town romance series by Bethany Lopez. Follow the Lewis cousins of Cherry Springs, the kind of place where there are festivals for every occasion and everyone knows your business, as they learn about love and loss.

I LIKED IT!

I liked it! The narration was great and kept me entertained! The author did a good job with the characters and plot. I like that you don't have to read the previous books to enjoy this one but I really feel you will get more out of the story if you do. I look forward to reading more books in this series! Can't wait to read the rest of the series!

I loved this story. It went by much too quick for me. I loved the character development, loved the close family relationship of all of the cousins and their significant others, the main characters. Apparently this is book 4, so I'm super excited to catch up on the three that I missed. It could definitely be listened to as a standalone, but I'm sure the backstory of the cousins would make it even better. I really enjoyed listening to the narrator Holly's voice as well. So pleasant, able to pull off the males and the females. Great story, great narration!!

Too Enchanting

This book was great! I loved this whole series so far and can only hope there will be more in the future. Such a close knit family that is there for you no matter what the circumstances.

A Cute Small Town Romance

Too Enchanting is the fourth standalone in the Lewis Cousins series from Bethany Lopez. It's the second book I've listened to, since I seem to be skipping around this series. Even though I'm not listening/reading the books in order, I have no issues following around and enjoying the stories.

Jed and Serena's story was perfect for a short, light-hearted read. I really enjoyed following along with their romance and watching Jed push past Serena's walls. The Lewis cousins are such a fun family to read about. They're joking around and love for each other always makes for a great time. Too Enchanting is a sweet, steamy read with relatable characters and enjoyable banter.

good listen well worth the time

love the story of Jeb and Rinna strong stubborn people that have a passion for love. This is one of those stories that shows you that looking at the surface doesn't always mean you understand the passions within. I enjoy listening to the stories and laughing along some of the fun things that happened. But this steamer side of this book really makes you understand the Passions within the characters. the only problem that I had was in the one-sided dimension of the protagonist . it seems like some of the things she did we're just to help them move the story along. For example at the gallery she showed up late with no fanfare she seemed to know what was going on between Rinna and Jeb and how this would affect their relationship. first off how did she even know that they were in a relationship. Also for an individual that's riding on her looks and getting away with for years you would think she would know better how to play the system. Know that great stories have a great good guy and a great bad guy. Give to much to one or the there and you lose the story. Superman has Lex, Batman has the Joker. I think that in part 2 there needs to be stronger villain even if it is the same person back for revenge she needs to be smart as the main characters are but the love that the main character have will always win out. I like the narration but would like to have the thoughts of the individual match the same voice as they're speaking it helps with continuity of each character. hope to see the next book soon

Good family story

I enjoyed listening to Too Enchanting. The story was short and Serena and Jed's story was good. My favorite thing about this story is the family that it involves. I love family series where each person gets their own story, but we continue to learn about the family throughout the series. Jed wasn't impressed with Serena at all at first, but he quickly learns that he had her pegged all wrong. Serena can't help but fall for her hot neighbor.

The narration was good. My complaint about the narration was that this story was told in dual POV and only a woman narrated. That took away from the story for me. I like when a man reads the man's part. There were times I got lost as to who was speaking during the story.

Overall, the story was good and I enjoyed it.

Typical

This is a cute small town romance between a reformed mean girl and a handsome boy next door! Serena and Jed started out as enemies whose attraction to one another allows them to overcome the small stuff and explore dating which quickly turns into a love match! This story seemed to follow the typical format of going on a date then omg I’m in love! Holly Holt’s narrating was okay at best. She basically read through each part without much emotion or change in tone to help the listener differentiate between male and female characters! There were times that I confused Jed’s POV for Serena’s.

First Impressions!

This was a good book. I liked how they both got their first impressions of each other so wrong, funny banter.
Standalone with no cliffhangers, but the others couples are in this one so if you have them read the first 3 books before this one.

Great Read

Too Enchanting: The Lewis Cousins, Volume Four was a good read by Bethany Lopez. When Serena was young, her parents took her away from her family and friends. In order to rebel, she became the woman that she knew her parents wouldn't like. She moves back hom and hopes to leave behind that woman that she was. She meets Jed who is not only her cousin's friend but also her neighbor. I loved reading Serena and Jed's story and cant wait to read more by Bethany Lopez.
