Publisher's summary

I never considered how far I'd go to protect those I love.

Not until now. Not until them: Locke. Kylian. Kendrick. Decker.

The boys of Lake Chapel own me—mind and body, heart and soul. I'll fight for them. Wait for them. Root for them and support them through anything. Because what we're building together is a forever kind of love.

Every word will be dissected, every move recorded, but the cameras and media scrutiny are temporary. We cling to private moments away from the mansion and hold out hope that life won't always be this hard.

But when a terrifying encounter with parallels to the past leaves us shaken, Decker takes drastic action.

Despite our whispered promises and dreams for the future, what we share may not be enough to survive the pressure of what comes next.

The boys of Lake Chapel taught me that love can be limitless. No one warned me what can happen when love is pushed too far.

Too Far is the third and final book in the Boys of Lake Chapel series. It is a full-length why-choose sports romance featuring darker themes and high heat.

what a ride 💕🌶️🥵

We have the conclusion to Jo Jo and her guys's story and boy, what a ride. This one is definitely the spiciest but I also felt like this time we had Decker front and center along with Jo. Stats Daddy, Emo Boy and K are all in on Jo but Decker still holds back as a way to protect Jo & the others. It's the circumstances that Decker feels force his hands but its also those circumstances that bring them back together with unexpected revelations and a lot of angst that really had me turning the page.

There is still a bit of naiveté around Jo & the guys - the camera crew and being with public figures is always going to draw attention and create a microscope effect. But I appreciated how those elements reinforced the feeling of protectiveness over Jo. I live for the drama and we got it plenty here!

I also loved the banter in this book. Stats Daddy Kylian is still my favorite, though K & Emo Boy start to come into their own in this dynamic. And the spice between all of them is HOT! We finally see them all coming together (pun intended) and it was worth the wait.

There is a lot more of a highlight on K & Locke's illnesses here and I think that gave us something we didn't see in the previous two books. I really appreciated that represented, along with the mental health aspect.

And I absolutely ate up the epilogues (especially the last one from Kylian's POV). This story was exactly what I'd hoped the conclusion was. I love Abby's writing and this world she created. I also listened to this one and the audio book brought another element to this story that I think only enhances the ending to this trilogy.

an Emotional RollerCoaster, totally worth it

I have worried, smiled and cried sad ugly tears due to this book. it is well written and really makes you feel what the characters feel. I felt happy and angry and sad and hopeful. What a conclusion to this story. slightly unexpected. the narrators all did a fabulous job bringing the characters to life and breathing feeling into the story.

Great performances for this why choose romance

This is the final book in The Boys of Lake Chapel series and the narrators do such amazing voice acting to bring the characters’ personalities to life as they all battle for the opportunity to free themselves from the ties that kept them held down from their happiness so they can live the lives they’ve dreamed of as a family.

Female narrator

The female narrator did a fantastic job and I LOVED the voices of Decker, Kylian and Locke. The only thing I didn’t like was the pronouncing of Kylian’s name when the other male narrator would say it. It wasn’t pronounced the same and I found myself correcting him out loud when he said it differently than how it was supposed to be pronounced.
