About this listen

Forensic investigator Dustin Reed stopped believing in fairytale romance in high school. Ever since his best friends scared off his loser ex, he's been a chronically single scrawny geek, afraid of being used. Love blossoms around him, while his family wants him to get hitched to the right class of man. All he can seem to find is hookup app encounters, but Dustin wishes someone would sweep him off his feet for love, too.

After his tour of duty, now-forensic photographer Leo Sanderson is glad to be home. Behind his muscles lies a heart of gold, but school and his new job aren't resonating with him. Nobody has his back anymore, but he's fine on his own. He's never clicked with the women he's dated, but bumping into Dustin in a gay bar is making things fall into place...a little faster than he'd like.

Hooking up while avoiding labels isn't a bad idea: Leo's figuring himself out, Dustin's unwilling to hand over his heart, and they both work together. But Valentine's day is coming and they haven't been seeing anyone else. In fact, neither of them want to. Every fairytale has to start somewhere; why not the bedroom? Can they get past their insecurities and admit to each other and the world what they really want?

Dustin & Leo

I love this series and this a wonderful addition to it. Dustin and Leo are spectacular characters and I love how well the fit together. Their story is cute, romantic, and sexy and thankfully low angst. It's great to see the rest of the gang and see how they are doing and how well they enfold a new member into their group. The narrator did a spectacular job with this story and especially with the voices for Leo and Dustin. Can't wait for the next one in the series. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Dustin and Leo

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Leo and Dustin's relationship unfolds so naturally. Each is a bit hesitant. Leo is new to everything about dating and relationships, so he takes his cues from Leo letting him set the pace. Dustin's been used and discarded by all his attempts at a one so he's a bit flustered from Leo's genuine interest. The only angst is from outside influences and they face it together, leaning on one another for support. The way the other brothers accept and rally around them is lovely.

Excellent Story!

I have been waiting for Dustin's story to be on audible and man was it worth the wait. Wonderful story, very sweet with very low angst. I really enjoyed getting to see all of the Significant Brothers again and how they interact with one another. I love chosen families and this is one of my favorite ones. Dustin and Leo are so perfect for each other and their relationship was fun. I did want to string up Dustin's parents though, they can go, like now. I am anxiously looking forward to the next one in this series coming to audible and I hope it's Greg Boudreaux again because he makes these stories so very much better with his voice.

The quieter of the Significant Brothers finds love

I've been dying to get Dustin's story since the introduction of the Significant Brothers, and I wasn't disappointed in the least!
Ed Davies manages to create magical, low-in-drama worlds that make you at ease and the books are so well written and flow by in such a way that you often find yourself having almost finished the story and wishing that there were another 200 pages...
Dustin and Leo... opposite in a way, but just the same and perfectly fitting in others. While Dustin is the apparently weaker one, often overshadowed by others and not really standing up for himself, he shows his inner force in the end when he lets himself realize that he can take charge of his life. I love how Leo seems unsure or seems to stew over things for a while, but once he’s sort of made up his mind, he goes for whatever he wants unapologetically.
Greg Boudreaux's narration is perfect as usual (he’s actually one of my favourite narrators) and to me he got the perfect essence of Dustin and Leo!

great additon to series

I absolutely love this series. Dustin and Leo are wonderful characters. They way they meld together is lovely to watch thru out the story. Their story is sweet, romantic, and thankfully low angst which was just what I needed.
I love how the Author brings back friends from past books so we get a sneak peek at them and how there life is going.

Absolutely fantastic!

E. Davies is back at it again, and I am so grateful! I just love these Significant Brothers. They are such a strong family, and I love how they support and accept each other and their loves.

In this book 4, quiet Dustin finally meets someone to make him take a risk of falling in love. Leo has never considered being with a man, but when he meets Dustin, pieces just click and fall into place for him. He never really questions his feelings, and is very open to all his relationship with Dustin can bring. There are little bumps in the road for them, but it is nothing that can not be overcome with communication and love. I really enjoyed sharing their journey with them.

I listened to this in audio format as a re-read, and Greg Boudreaux did a fantastic job. Revisiting this series has made me remember why I fell in love with these characters, and I feel like I loved Dustin and Leo even more after reading this again. They were so great together, and my heart was so full listening to them fall in love.

My favorite couple of the series.

Dustin like to keep his head down and concentrate on work. Leo is new to the office and he is absolutely adorkable in my opinion. When the sparks fly between these two you are in for such a sweet story that has yet to be surpassed as one of my favorite E. Davies couples to date.

Great to listen to for warm and fuzzy feelings

This entire series is full of the great kind of feel good romances. Listening to Trace gave me all the smiles and warm fuzzy feelings that make for an enjoyable way to spend some time. Plus the length is just the right amount to listen to. The narrator did a terrific job with this book and all of the characters were easy to distinguish which can be difficult in some single narration MM audiobooks.

Trace had an interesting sort of push-pull without being overly angsty that I appreciated. Both Leo and Dustin were likable characters that had to work through some past issues as well as present challenges brought on by working together. Leo was very mature in his attitude after serving in the military and even though he didn't have a clear handle on his life, he approached it head-on and falling for Dustin was lovely to watch unfold.

I think this is my favorite in the series (so far......still have two more to read) and I found the epilogue swoony and everything my romantic heart wanted to hear. I definitely recommend this Significant Brothers series!

Awwww.... They're adorable

I absolutely adore these two guys. Dustin and Leo are just great for each other. Leo takes one look at Dustin and he's hooked, despite the fact that guys have not seriously been on his radar before now. He knows that there are some things that he needs to examine from his past and all the feelings that have shown up. I really like that he is not afraid to own up to those feelings and go for what he wants despite this being out of his comfort zone. Dustin has been burned in the past and that has made it difficult to open up to new people and put himself out there . He doesn't know whether he can trust that Leo's feelings are genuine so the two of them try to get to know one another outside of the bedroom. Because chemistry inside the bedroom is NOT an issue. They have lots of fun, there is sass and snark and lots of laughs. They talk and are introduced to all the important people in their lives. Some of those meetings go better that others. Of course when support is needed the brothers and their significant others rally to help them both. I love the way that the narrator continues to do a wonderful job on these guys and the world that they live in.
