About this listen

War is coming, and she must decide how badly she wants the vampires on her side. Or as a thorn in her side

"My name is Rylee, and I am a Tracker."

When children go missing, and the Humans have no leads, I'm the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot.

Bringing my allies together as war approaches is my number one concern. But that means I have to play nice with a vampire who is blackmailing me. If I don’t, I’m screwed and my family is dead.

But I don't play nice. And I have a backup plan. Kinda.

Throw in some new weapons being developed that work around supernaturals and I have more problems than I can handle on my own.

Good thing I have a kick ass team.

Even if they are on the other side of the world from me.

There is never black & white… but many shades of grey. 😈🩶🩶🩶

This was so much fun for me to listen to. Mostly because I found this author from another of her series and Alex was a major player in that series. This gives me so much more understanding as to his story and what he was like. Why he is the way he is. The twists this book added into the story line are many and I’m excited to see where this leads. Love the world, the characters and even some of the villains. There is never black and white… but many shades of grey. 😈🩶🩶🩶

Loved it!

Yuppy doody, I'm hooked!
This one was a heart pumping with lots of action! I caught myself holding my breath several times during some intense scenes. There's vampire politics happening in this one and Rylee is smack dab in the middle of the chaos. I absolutely love several of the secondary characters, they're like family to me, especially Alex. The narrators, Lauren Fortgang, and Dan Bittner use a variety of tones and inflections to portray the characters. They kept me engaged till the very end. I can't wait to see what happens next.

perfect narration, perfect story

ya know, I don't think there's much I can say that I haven't already said about this series.

Rylee and friends are thrust once again into neverending tides, and when the odds seem impossible, they still make it out on top.

this series is so, so good. I don't have words for how much I love Rylee's protectiveness, and for how much growth she and Liam have had throughout the series.

Lauren and Dan are the perfect narrators for this series, and I genuinely cannot imagine anyone else playing these roles.

thank you again to Shannon and team for the ALCs. I'm smitten with this series.
