About this listen

In Trails of Love....

When Graham Braden travels to Oak Falls, Virginia to attend the wedding of his buddy Reed Cross to Grace Montgomery, he sticks around to help with renovations to Reed's new theater. The last thing he expects is to be asked to assess and possibly invest in Grace's sister Morgyn's business endeavor. Graham is a careful, keen businessman, and Morgyn is impulsive, disorganized, and more interested in the energy flow in her eclectic retail shop than in the accuracy of her records. While Graham isn't ready to open his pockets to the sassy, sexy business owner, he may be ready to open his heart.

Wonderful narration!

I listened to the audio version of this book. I have listened to a lot of Melissa Foster books...a lot of the Bradens and Montgomerys. One thing I can say for sure is I like when the narrators change as they did for this one. I love the dual narration and find that if the same narrator or narrators are used again and again, I end up not really paying attention.
The books in this series all have the same style and sometimes I just lose interest if it's the same kind of story line. After listening to her Whiskey Series, I just want more of that different style of book; different type of characters. There is definitely sizzle in Trails of Love, but it's beginning to seem like the main characters aren't very different from those in the series that came before them. They all end up doing something to better the world and their love interest makes some big sacrifice, but even that gets old after awhile.
The narrators did do a wonderful job, hence the 4 stars.
I was gifted a copy of this audio book. All thoughts are my own.

Wonderful Story!

Most of us at some point in our lives have gotten together with someone at a fair, festival, or at a vacation spot, but mine were never like Graham. Lucky, Morgyn! If you have read most of Melissa Foster's books before, you might be familiar with Graham, Morgyn, and both of their families, but this is the first time that they have met each other. Graham, also known as Cracker, and Morgyn, also known as Sunshine or Floaty, are as different from each other, as they could be, other than they are very caring of other people, and taking care of our earth. As different as they are, they fit together smoothly, and wear off a little on each other, to make each a better person. I loved the part about the homeless man. This is a wonderful story, that I kept wanting to go back to, long after I would turn off my car. The narrators, Virginia Rose and Aaron Shedlock, also even added to the story, using only their voices. Melissa Foster earns 5+ stars from me for this book, and the two narrators also earn 5+ stars from me for their part.

What an adventure

This book was fun and full of adventure. Graham and Morgyn have that fun playful chemistry. When she first lays eyes on Graham she thinks he is gay. That is so funny because I thought my husband was gay when I first met him.

You feel a connection to the characters and you feel like you are on the adventures with them. The way places and things are described make you feel like you are right there in Morgyn's shop or at the old caboose. Melissa really brings things to life. These two were not looking for something but once they found one another they knew they had found what they never knew they always wanted.

I love listening to audio books and think that the narrators make the story just as much as the story itself. These narrators however were not my favorite. To me their voices did not match what I had in my head for the characters. Would I re listen to the book, yes of course because the story itself is great and I love the adventure that is Graham and Morgyn.

Morgyn and Graham are a Perfectly Opposite Fit!

Had the opportunity to listen to this book on Audible recently, I have to say I loved revisiting Morgyn and Graham!

Virginia and Aaron were fantastic narrators, and I really to love when it's a male and female narrator playing each part, so it brings depth and personality to each character.

Graham never wants to change a thing about Morgyn, and I love that about him. He just wants her to be the be version of herself possible. Swoon. And Morgyn needs someone like Graham in her life, to open her life to new possibilities and slowing her down a bit to look at things from new angles. Loved this audio book!

Fun Love Story!

Melissa Foster has written another super great story of the Bradens and Montgomerys. Virginia Rose and Aaron Shedlock narrated it and brought it to life. Morgyn Montgomery is a kind hearted person that met Graham Braden at a festival. He was an investor. They hooked-up again at Morgyn's sister Grace's wedding to Graham's buddy Reed Cross. She called him cracker and he called her sunshine. What a fun story!

Sweet and Beautiful Story!

This is the third book in The Bradens & Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill - Oak Falls Series. Graham and Morgyn's story is sweet, romantic, and beautilly written. They are opposites attract, but they complement each other, and they are perfect together. I like the family bonds in this Series. Virginia Rose and Aaron Shedlock did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to Wild, Crazy Hearts, the next book in the Series.

Really good small town, big family romance

Morgyn Montgomery and Graham Braden meet at a festival unaware that their families and friends know each other and possibly were planning to set them up :) On the outside they seem so much like opposites but together they compliment and completely support each other.
I loved that this story was relatively low on angst and drama. It is a really good small town, big family romance.
I listened to the story on audiobook and loved the dual narration by two awesome narrators. Definitely worth grabbing this one for a listen.
